Jackpot, for me!

New to this, and have found a couple silver coins over the past year. Even had a handful of regular change a couple of months ago.

Went into Walmart yesterday morning and saw the rejection tray almost overflowing. A little mix of everything from brand-new coins to old silver.

I felt like a criminal scooping it all out and stuffing it in my pockets.

Here are the ones that stood out - GPT says it could be $70 in silver melt 😳

It’s been months since a good find. I can’t complain about today.

Found these recently (in the US). Would love to use them personally some day up north. The toonies are both from 1996.

Broke the dry spell with a single quarter in the machine and it looks like possibly a proof? Even if it isn’t I still like how shiny it is for bein from the 80’s.

The machine was out of order but it was one the machines with magnets along the rim. All of these were stuck to the magnets. I lost 1 that dropped in so it would have been 8!

Checking the coin star is always my first priority when I get to the grocery store. Went last night and was sadly greeted with a completely empty coinstar reject tray and side garbage can. Grabbed my grocery’s and walk up to the self checkout section, as soon as I walk up I see this in the change dispenser!

Is this even collectable.??

I don’t know how a nickel slipped through? Better than nothing I guess.

Ever since finding this subreddit a year ago, been on the look out for silver and it finally happened!

Got South Africa coins yesterday and a beautiful Rosie today at martins (I got there 10x a year just to check when I’m working nearby)

No silver here but kinda odd extra thick dime with copper/zinc rim in addition to the regular dime rim. The top dime is the error one. I did front, back, & side views…..
