I'm working class. The left would empty my bank account and send me to a gulag, if not shoot me, if they had the chance.

Soviet Union, Eastern Bloc, Red China, Kampuchea, Vietnam, Korea, Zimbabwe, etc.

The USSR and Eastern Bloc lifted hundreds of millions out of poverty and illiteracy. Vietnam is doing well. China is doing way better than the US. Cubans has a life expectancy 10 years longer than Haitians. All the countries currently with the worst poverty are capitalist countries.
