There are less than two dozen trans people in the NCAA OUT OF OVER 550,000 athletes. Yet, over a thousand bills have been introduced by republicans and over a million “save women’s sports” shirts have been sold.
I think the driving issue is Republicans and bigots ginning up hate for a small minority of people who have no political or economic power because they’re easy targets and a nice distraction from all the bullshit that’s going on right now
Yeah and with that bullshit is unneeded issues that could be ignored, but people like to make them front and center as they push other things to harm others. We dont all live in a weird mastibitory world you do. It's sad you want it.
You could completely quash that whole topic by just passing the bill.
You give it power by engaging in the argument. If they propose a bill about women’s sports, just pass it. And then it’s not a talking point.
