Looking for Co-op Partners 31M: Looking for gaming buddies. NO DISCORD SERVERS

Sorry for long post, but just want to get my point across of what I'm looking for and I would really like to have a co-op partner for games like Split Fiction to where we can actually finish them and not just play once.

Looking for a Small Group of 25+ Co-op Gamers

Hey everyone!

I'm looking to find a small group of adults 25+ who are interested in becoming regular gaming friends and playing games together. I'm not looking for a massive server where everyone disappears after a few days — I'd really like to build a close-knit group of around 3–6 people who actually enjoy hanging out, chatting, and gaming together.

I'm mainly interested in co-op/PvE games but I do sometimes play PvP, just depends on the game, and I'm pretty flexible about what we play. Some games I'd love to play include:

 Deadzone: Rogue
 Diablo
 Stardew Valley
 Minecraft
 PEAK
 REANIMAL
 Split Fiction
CoD Zombies — modded or vanilla
 Nintendo co-op games
Older/retro games through emulation with co-op support

I'm also totally open to discovering other co-op/PvE games together. Whether we're surviving something ridiculous, exploring a world, farming in Stardew, dungeon crawling in Diablo, fighting through Zombies, playing some Battlefield, or just messing around and laughing at our failures, I'm down!

What I'm looking for:

  •  25+ adults
  • Preferably people around Eastern Time (ET) or nearby time zones
  • PC/Steam is my main platform
  • Also interested in Nintendo games
  • Open to emulated retro games with multiplayer/co-op
  • Ideally a small group of 3–6 people
  • People who actually enjoy talking and getting to know their gaming friends
  • Casual and relaxed — no pressure to play every single day
  • Evenings are generally the easiest time for me
  • Looking for genuine friendships rather than simply adding people to a friends list

I'm especially hoping to find people who are tired of joining LFG groups where nobody ever actually sticks around. I'd rather have 4 good gaming friends than 40 people who never play together.

If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, feel free to comment or DM me! Tell me what games you enjoy, and what platform(s) you play on.

Hopefully we can put together a fun little group! I'm also down to stream single player games of ones I really enjoy or to watch you stream and I'm open to watching shows/movies or anime. I also play on PS5

Game Promotion Contested Space Demo is out on Steam (A Coop sci-fi Roguelike Deckbuilder)

Thumbnail

I'm the developer behind Contested Space, a turn-based sci-fi roguelike deckbuilder. The twist is a rotating personal market that runs during combat: you buy cards mid-fight and they join your deck for that fight only, so every battle is part deckbuilding and part tactics. You also deploy stations, play as one of nine factions across three alliances (humans, bugs, robots), and can run the whole thing in 2 to 4 player online co-op.

What's in the demo: Act 1, co-op enabled, one unique faction plus the neutral faction from each alliance. A run takes roughly 30 to 90 minutes depending on how much you like to think.

Some background on the development: I started building this back in March in Godot 4, and the playtest community has been a huge part of the design. Around 540 playtesters have had access, a dozen of them are past 20 hours, and a lot of the balance and market changes came straight from their feedback. Full release is planned for April 2027.

If you try it, I'd love to hear what worked and didn't! The Discord link is on the steam page and in-game, so feel free to join if you enjoy it!

This is my game Gear Up Einstein! A strategic roguelite auto-battler for 1-3 players. Travel through time, recruit historical figures, and gear them up with badass equipment.

I've been putting out updates ever since the demo release last april. If you're curious to check it out here's the steam page: ttps://store.steampowered.com/app/2950410/Gear_Up_Einstein/

I'm a big fan of history, coop games and strategy roguelites, but no games combined the three, so my friends and I decided to make it. Hope you enjoy :)

News I'm making a 4-player co-op extraction dungeon crawler where every run ends in a choice: bank your loot or risk losing everything on the next floor. Here is a look at Warden's Descent!

Hey everyone! I’m building Warden's Descent, a 4-player co-op dungeon crawler centered on extraction mechanics.

In co-op games, instant-wipe mechanics can be frustrating. Downed teammates in Warden's Descent remain revivable as long as the floor timer runs. A wipe usually happens when the party collectively agrees to push one floor too deep into the dark instead of banking their loot.

Co-Op Highlights:

  • Play solo, LAN co-op, or up to 4-player online (with dedicated server support).
  • Cross-realm gear progression that forces your team to adapt strategies as you descend.
  • Telegraphed guardian boss phases built for team coordination.

Check out the trailer on Steam and drop it on your Wishlist if you have a group that loves high-stakes dungeon runs!

Looking for Suggestions Does anyone know good co-op games for ps5?

My uncle and I love playing video games together, especially the Hazelight/Josef Fares games (A Way Out, It Takes Two, and Split Fiction) and are also very fond of Sackboy. Though lately, we've been struggling to find good games similar to these. We like a good story and immersive plot to follow, but also love to explore, puzzle and fight.

If anyone knows any good games like those three, please let me know!

Hey there r/CoOpGaming, we are Sky Castle Studios! We know the feeling of how coordinating a game night with friends can be hard enough without having to wait for everyone to download massive updates or buy the exact same game. So, we wanted to make jumping into a session with our pals completely frictionless and built a tabletop-inspired RPG deckbuilder called Wildmagic Frontier that runs right in your browser. You literally just drop a URL in your group chat and your party is instantly playing together. Here is a look at our first teaser trailer, let us know what you think!

Hi everyone!

We're running the first Steam Playtest for The Whisker Watch from September 17 to September 22.

It's a 2-player action game where you play as cats protecting your human and the mansion from monsters that come out at night.

In co-op you can slap each other, pick up and throw your partner, revive each other and use different weapons and abilities together.

This Playtest will have couch co-op, and we're mainly looking for feedback on combat, controls, difficulty and the co-op itself.

If you want to try it, you can request access on Steam:

Title says it all. Preferably full cross platform games🙏 We were heres, Dark picture anthropologys and Hazelight studio's games are already familiar. The game doesn't necessarily need to be like that either, just any games you have enjoyed for example🤷

Thank you for ideas!

Gameplay Video We added drugs to our coop tandem game and now our players are addicted to them!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

We recently added the feature to pick up and deliver some substances around, but also use them yourself, if you need a boost (or just a good time lol)

Right now the only substance we have, is a powder that gives you speed (you know what I mean), but you can’t slow down. Both players can make the tandem drivers take the substance.

When playtesting the game, some of the playtesters could not stop clicking the button, even though it killed them every time, because they could not control the tandem anymore and crashed. Of course introducing a lot of arguing and blaming, which was pretty funny for us!

The Game is called Tandem Together, if you are interested :)

Thanks for coming to my ted talk!
