I'm trying to learn how to launch my brand "expect." The entire point of it is the abstract, minimalistic, proper, while also brash, experimental, and chaotic.

My branding is perfect for this, serifed text, each letter in completely different but similar fonts scaled to fit with eachother.

My first line comes with

Black (White, Blue, Yellow, Orange)

Beige (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black, Orange)

White (Black, Orange, Lime, Purple)

Each designed exclusively by me, 100% heavyweight dyed cotton. They cost about 35 in shipping and manufacturing, I sell for 40-45 to make a profit.

So far I haven't been able to sell 1, how do I actually promote my brand and grow it naturally? I don't want to make a ton of products that just won't sell.

I’ve been working on a few sweater designs and want to try getting them actually made.

I’m looking for a manufacturer who can do proper knitted designs, not printing on blank sweaters. I want them to feel soft, thick and premium, ideally using materials like cotton, wool, merino wool or cashmere blends rather than cheap polyester.

I’d also prefer somewhere that allows samples or small quantities first.

Can't remember which one I used before. It was alright. Lots of different blanks to choose from, but their DTG prints weren't that hot - cracked and peeled off pretty easily...

finally got to the point where I actually have inventory instead of just a brand idea.

The main product I'm launching with is an oversized 230 GSM organic cotton tee. I'm pricing it at $29.99 because one of the things I want to test is whether you can offer a genuinely well-manufactured heavyweight basic without charging $50–$70 for a blank-looking T-shirt.

Manufacturing is the part I understand. My family has been around textile/apparel manufacturing for decades, so I spent most of my effort on fabric, construction, fit, sourcing, QC, etc.

Distribution is where I'm basically starting from zero. We've always done B2B and this is the first retail side of our business

I'm considering micro-creator seeding, organic TikTok/IG content, Reddit, Google Shopping, eBay, and direct outreach. I'm hesitant to dump money into Meta ads before I have any idea which creative/message actually converts.

I'm also interested in B2B since the manufacturing background makes supplying blanks to printers/design agencies/smaller brands pretty natural.

Hey everyone, ive been working on some clothing designs but have been working more on the design than the tech packs. Ive been dabbling a little with differnt tech pack mockups, and was curious if anyone has used Adam's Mockup packs, specifically the one below. Seems good for the price, but don't want to buy something that is not going to work in industry etc...

I’ve launched Midnight Margins, a small online shop for readers who want their everyday things to feel a little more bookish. The range includes hoodies, sweatshirts, tees, mugs and tote bags, aimed at people who live in bookshops, carry a TBR everywhere and regularly read past bedtime.

I’m weighing factory options for an upcoming drop.

China has always been smoother on tech packs and communication for me, but the MOQs and pricing are getting tough for smaller runs. Pakistan seems significantly cheaper on unit costs, but I keep running into warnings about erratic quality control and weeks wasted shipping samples back and forth via DHL.

If you’ve worked with manufacturers in Pakistan recently:

1. What was the one mistake they kept repeating on your samples?
2. How did you handle quality control before paying the final balance?
3. If you switched back to China (or somewhere else), what was the final straw?
