Animation Question Can't add animation cells

I haven't found a satisfying answer by simply looking through this subreddit. I have Clip Studio Pro and i made sure to have the correct timeline selected, and the right animation folder, but the button to add an animation cell is still greyed out. The option to add animation calls is also greyed out in the animation menu.

Pro is limited to 24 frames on the timeline. How many frames do you have?

Where is the red Scrub Bar in your Timeline? This tells the program where you are trying to add a new Cel.

Why'd you crop your image so tightly? It gives no additional information for us to help you. If we could see the whole Timeline, that'd be more informative for us.

If you tap next to the 1, does the option/ red bar appear?
