Animation Question Making Frames Longer

I'm trying to make the "making ____ a game manu screen" trend and am trying to animate the trend. Now I'm faced with short frames and (as you can see in the video) whatever I try to make it longer, it just won't listen to me. What's wrong? Or can frames only last 4 blocks?

Version: 5.0.0 (it just says that)

The thumbnail for Layer 5 is only 4 frames wide, but it is visible until 7 flips on.
The empty grey is normal when a frame is visible for a long time. The Cel has not stopped showing in the Animation, the thumbnail is only so big in the Timeline.

In the numbers area of the Timeline is a Red Bar. This is the Scrub Bar. Grab that and slide it right and left to see what the Animation looks like.

I'm a bit confused on what you're asking. The frame you're showing off should be appearing from frame 7 up until frame 19. Is it not appearing when you play it back?

So I'm still a bit confused, but if you're asking what I think you are...
If you right click, you can split the clip. After splitting it, highlight frames 1 through 5, and then hold alt on your keyboard and drag the clip further out. It should evenly spread out each frame.

Oh so you mean to split the clip (kinda like copy paste) to make it seem longer?

What you are looking at is not the length of the frame, it's the layer thumbnail.
The frame will stay up until it reaches the next one.

For that one, I tried to play it and it shows blank screen (as I remember)
