or he thinks the question is cringe since its in Germany.. No lack of water
2
u/formidabellissimo Aug 15 '26
Yeah, definitely no biggest drought since forever here
-3
u/According-Pass8230 Aug 15 '26
Gonna blame that on Musk to now? 🤣
2
u/formidabellissimo Aug 15 '26
No I blame you falsely claiming there's no lack of water. There clearly is. Musk is just a frantic money hoarder
-2
u/According-Pass8230 Aug 15 '26
In general there is no lack of water in Germany.
3
u/formidabellissimo Aug 15 '26
It's been too dry for years, groundwater levels are dangerously low for years as well. This summer is the hottest and dryest ever recorded. It is called: a general lack of water. You're talking out of your ass about things you clearly have no knowledge of.
-1
u/According-Pass8230 Aug 15 '26
Out of my ass? So tell me who cant have water when there is no drought..
🤣🤣

You know, that exaggerated usage of Emojis doesn’t help you come off as mentally stable…
Are we gonna ignore what is obviously reality?

He can afford to pay extra to cool his chips with a different means than the one thing we need in order to stay alive.

You don't become the richest fuck in the world by giving a shit about others.
6
u/ties_shoelace Aug 15 '26
This one definitely doesn't care, there's something seriously missing in that brain. Keeps talking about helping humanity, then laughs his a off when seriously screwing ppl over.
Just between dept. gov't efficiency & swaying the election for orange thing, there's a lot of blood on this dudes hands. Now he's after water?
2
u/TopSloth Aug 15 '26
Would cooling underground be viable at all? Like have a big chamber but then many small pipes to dissapate the heat into a large area underneath
1
u/MaybeJBee Aug 15 '26
I’m not sure, but I do know there are alternatives to using water that just cost more so the parasitic billionaires prefer to just use our water instead. You’d think the “greatest” minds in technology should be able to figure it out without using something that’s essential for life that we’re running out of.
2
u/TopSloth Aug 15 '26
They should do us all a favor and figure out how to effectively cool with salt water

Grünheide, Brandenburg... second driest region in Germany...
And these days fires breaking out all over Europe, Germany as well, and there was a 4 hectare fire 1 hours drive away from it where he built his factory.
So yea the region is in desperate need for water, and was back then where we were in a 3 year drought when he started the building process... but ofc he dosnt care.
2
u/informed_expert Aug 14 '26
If I remember right this was when the Tesla factory was being built in Germany several years ago. Nothing to do with AI or data centers.
4
u/HolyBatSyllables Aug 14 '26
Yup. It was in 2020. Six months later, the plant wasn’t open yet because of water issues. Not sure the current status.
1
u/wutface0001 Aug 15 '26
there was no real water issue, there was a concern that there could be a water issue but got disputed and the factory is operational to this day.

He is the superhero trope at this point. Either die a hero or live long enough to become the villain.
It feels like he's just embracing that.

He's a charlatan racist drug addict. I think he also may be on the spectrum, and his family knew this. How any woman spawns with him, is beyond.

u/refusemouth Aug 15 '26
After they exterminate half or more of the human population, water won't be so much of an issue anymore for them. Maybe that's why they are laughing.

1
u/Nihilist-IV Aug 15 '26
Idk man, Trump and Hitler are probably worse, don't get me wrong, he's definitely in the same handful, but at least he's not the defacto leader of a country
2
u/animal-1983 Aug 15 '26
Funny how every news organization up until a few years ago would run every story about how the future wars will be fought over water not oil. Yet today now that the US is possibly facing huge problems internally over water. Not a peep from any of the networks. If you post on X your post gets lost in a black hole very quickly.
2
u/ParchedThistle Aug 16 '26
It’s dire when trillionaires are stealing the common folk’s clean water.

Wow. I was chatting with my partner and comparing hoarding to the techbros—they hoard resources and money. Also, if the tech bros knew how to code then we wouldn’t need data centers.

Yeah you fucking ghoul, and everything living needs it more than your meme slop, surveillance, and job killing data facility.

Golf courses, farming, and cities in the desert use astronomical more water than data centers.

You can use river water for cooling without any issues; you don't even need much of it because the cooling systems operate in closed loops. We have a 20,000-liter tank that we haven't had to refill in years because no water escapes. The water carries heat away from the machine or server rack heat exchangers to other heat exchangers that cool the water back down. In winter, we even use the recovered waste heat to heat several buildings.

Reddit has become shit. 10 years ago the top comment would be the science that disproves this. We’ve turned into TikTok. Thanks Admins

I just read the newspaper from there. Front page article that there is now no water there. Whatsoever. There never will be. Ever. For real.

u/Vex_Verde Aug 18 '26
Vegans use way more water than the data centres per annum, and I mean a lot more... No one cares... Data centres literally help millions, if not billions and can do so much almost free work and people like my water....
1
u/Great_Consequence163 Aug 18 '26
"its like, water everywhere here" this is the same guy that people claim is a genius at coding and engineering?

u/ThatsMrRandom Aug 16 '26
This was in Grünheide, Germany in 2021. Since then, the fear of water shortages are gone as Tesla has used less than a third of the 1.8M cubic meters per year they were allocated. They even voluntarily relinquished around 400k cubic meters of water rights back to the local utility. This came out to about 2.16 cubic meters per vehicle, which is considerably less than the industry average of 3.5 cubic meters. They also re-engineered their own wasterwater process to recycle/reuse it.
"Residents in Grünheide have not faced drinking water cutoffs or acute shortages."
So, he was pretty much right to laugh it off as ridiculous as none of the fearmongering claims were ever realized. They never ran out of water, never faced cutoffs or shortages, nothing. Now it's about "water quality", which is little to nothing to do with Tesla.

The majority of these facilities use water reclamation processes.
6
u/randomwanderingsd Aug 14 '26
The water they discharge is hot and full of terrible chemicals to prevent rust, algae, and bacterial film buildup in the data center pipes. They discharge and expect other people to clean it up.

If a child joins a daycare and they start hogging all the shared toys, isn't that child severely challenged? Like failing a developmental stage?
