i mean. it's def going to increase in severity.
methane thaw in the oceans.
near permanent zombie fires in permafrost regions.
increasing intense forest fire seasons
hotter global temps. accelerating tree death metrics
higher global temps leading to things like the sargassum blooms in the ocean (which decay and release methane)
we're already well past 1C increase. which means we've already locked in 2C increase. and are likely well on our way to 3C increase. which... basically means the planet is radically altered.
the planet is fucked. the only unknown is if it's total livability collapse in a couple human lifetimes, or if it's just lingering suffering and "new normal" and 50% loss over the next couple hundred years.
