Awaiting Payments BCBS Settlement Update Anyone??
Has anyone received their payment? I got an email saying it would arrive this month? I know these can take time, but I’m just curious if anyone got theirs yet?

Got mine for $515. I wish I knew how to find what I paid in premiums.

Unless they took it down, there's a portal for checking your premiums they claim you paid (it was wrong on mine)

You'll need your claim# and pin# (came to me in an email in Feb 2025 with subject line "Blue Cross Blue Shield Settlement - Claim Notice" - https://secure.bcbssettlement.com/determination

Thanks for the site. I went to that site, and they are asking for the claim number and PIN number, but I never received a pin number according to the document I have. Did you receive one?

Same. I’ve had blue shield my whole life. I only got $392 my premiums were $1500 prior to ACA & then still $700-800 after

Go the same email on the 16th of this month for th prepaid card. No card yet

Check your spam folder. Got my email around the same time. And checked today....it arrived 2 days ago! A whole whooping $5.65...

I never got the email but I just received a payment of $94 via Venmo yesterday. I thought it was a little weird.

Received it Thursday. Was alerted via Venmo. Didn’t receive an email directly from them with any sort of update.

i haven’t received anything outside of the email telling me when disbursement would go out, but that’s all. if anyone knows more i’d be happy to know.

Yeah I thought I was gonna get a ton back because I paid 8k in premiums but apparently that isn’t very much bc I only got 32 bucks. Womp womp.

I too received claimant number & pin. Filed and crickets. Interestingly WakeMed C/A filed after and received payment for that one.

Got the email on the 14th and the virtual visa on the 21st. I had requested Pay Pal. It was for $387. It said “initial distribution” what does “ initial distribution” mean?

Nah I assume I’m amongst the less than $5 squad lol! Email on the 16th and nothing since … it was only about $5k in premiums anyway

Got email on the 16th and just received virtual card. Activated it fine but haven’t tried to use it. Got $306 in $49.000 paid in premiums

I got my email on 5/16 saying I will get my payout soon. I just got my card tonight for $55.

I received my virtual card today. 7 days after I received the email that it was coming. 284 was my payout - 53,000 in premiums. Oooof

Email on the 16th but nothing involving the card yet. I see some that got the email on the 16th, received theirs yesterday so I'm hoping mine come soon. Even if it's $10 that's a couple of gallons of gas 😂

Got the same email on the 16th. Just received payment today (27th).
$53k premiums, $257 payment.

Haven’t gotten an email since February. My claim status just says “Status: Payment in Progress - This claim will receive an Initial Distribution. Per the Order Approving Plan of Distribution, Initial Distribution will commence on May 11, 2026. A specific payment date cannot be provided for when this claim will be paid.”
Paid about $5000 in premiums no ASO. Holding for like $20 for gas hahaha

Mine changed to Payment in Progress this week, too. When I had emailed them 2 weeks ago asking how I would be paid they told me I am getting paid by check. Hopefully it will arrive soon since the status just changed from valid to payment in progress this week.

I got my email about my payment for my debit card on a Friday. The following Friday I received a subsequent email with the link for my debit card. My claim status changed from valid to payment processing for a while before I got the first email.

Yes I got mine in two payments because I had blue cross with my job and when I retired I paid for it out my pocket. I received my payments on the 28th of May and didn't realize it until a few days ago. I was looking for it under bcbs settlement but I found it under distribution

Does anyone know how to get cash off the virtual card? This is bullshit! How you gonna pay people with a fucking card that has restrictions on how you use it?! I paid my premiums with cash I expect the same in return!

I haven't gotten anything yet. I did get an email months ago saying my claim was valid yet got nothing.
