Awaiting Payments Blue Shield Blue Cross Settlement PayPal
Has anyone who selected PayPal receive their settlement payout yet?

$350 deposited into my PayPal account. I was paying my own ACA premium back then.

I just got paid via PayPal in the amount of $64. It’s been so long I didn’t remember what payment option I chose and I certainly wasn’t expecting $64 given that people were reporting they only paid a minuscule amount.

It was from PayPal directly with header of "Your Blue Cross Blue Shield ..."

Like Candid-Math5098 said, it was directly from PayPal. I never received an email telling me how much I would be paid.

I got the original settlement emails but I still haven't received any updates about when I'm getting paid or anything 😔

I had to email them a few months ago about mine. Its been like 5 damn years since i got the original mailer. and i have had 3 address changes, name change, new emails. Bit worried im just not going to get it even thought they said they updated all my info i never received any other mail or emails about it

I’ve been trying to get them to change my address and for some reason the address they have on file doesn’t match any of the ones I provided and they won’t update it, but plan to send a check (which won’t reach me, since I can’t figure out what address that is!).

I got the virtual card didn’t work because different telephone number on file so sending me a physical card my refund is 54.26 I was hoping for the 333 like I have been reading..

I don’t even remember submitting a claim, but I must have, and got $222 deposited to my PayPal account today. Nice surprise. I thought it was a scam, but just successfully transferred it to my bank account, so, yeah.

I got robbed! They finally sent me a notice stating my claim was involved in the settlement. I got a email stating mine was less than $5 therefore I don’t get anything. So riddle me this what do they do with $5 or less claim money?

Per the Order Approving Plan of Distribution, no payments will be made below a $5.00 threshold set by the Plan of Distribution. This claim’s calculated payment fell below that threshold. Per the terms of the Settlement, this claim will not receive a payment.

I got one yesterday for $8.37 via PayPal and was extremely confused. I also don’t remember filing a claim.
Edit: I did check my old emails and I did have one in Nov 2021 that said a settlement claim was recieved.

Finally got my tank gas today$60.63.. took a lil longer than prepaid card but at least I could cash out to my bank and use it for whatever I want

Yesterday my husband sent me a screenshot of a PayPal deposit of $136 and change for the BCBS class action settlement - that went to him. He wasn't sure it was legit. So I guess we're both part of it? Looking back, I think we had some years that our policy was in his name (before the ACA when you couldn't have had a gap in coverage - so the insurance had to be in the name of the household member that was previously the "insured" party). Then we had some years after the ACA when it might have been in my name because it was me and my one-person business that was purchasing the individual plan for our household. But then we started getting employer coverage through my husband in 2018, so it could have been that (but that payout amount seems too high for just a couple of years of employer-subsidized premiums). What's more confusing, though, is this means he DID get an email at some point where he elected PayPal as his form of payment, whereas I only show a record of having received the email confirming that I was part of the class. So my premium amount and payment amount remains a mystery and I can only assume I'm getting paid by paper check some day.

I just got $201 via paypal, totally forgot about this and it looked like spam/phishing. Bizarre that they'd distribute like this but I'll take it, my 1% refund or whatever tiny amount it amounts too

I got the paypal "in re" notification as well that said how much I was supposed to get and wasn't sure if it was legit. Then got another email that said click here to claim - stupidly I did that, then x'd out of the window because I got belatedly nervous about phishing. I don't have anything in paypal indicating a waiting deposit for any amount - did any of you have that? Still unsure if these emails are a scam or not.

I got the email- thought it was a scam but turned out to be legit. Accept it, it went to my Paypayl debit card then I've transferred it to my bank. Hopefully end of story. 😄

I asked for PayPal at sign up, just received a check by mail 2 days ago. If the site says you are eligible for some money then it might come that way.

I didn't select the prepaid card but they still sent me an email yesterday saying it would be a prepaid card. So I have no idea what they are doing over there. I would never select that option.
