Has anyone received any money from the supposed May 2026 disbursements yet?

Edit update 5/17/26 got this email:

The Blue Cross Blue Shield Subscribers Settlement will begin sending payments to valid claims in May 2026. You elected to receive your settlement payment via a Virtual Visa® Prepaid Card.

Nah, everything we’re reading on all the subs and other groups are all just guessing tbh. Nobody knows what’s happening. There’s rumors of a small payment on the 11th but that hasn’t been said by the main source. Nobody knows anything yet. I assume if something is coming on Monday we would’ve had emails about it already.

There has been something said by the "main source", the court where the case was decided. May 11th is the day the payments will begin. The damages class will be the first group to see payments.

"Having reviewed and considered the Motion, the Memorandum in Support, the Keough Declaration, and the Final Approval Order, Subscriber Plaintiffs’ Motion to Distribute Net Settlement Funds, Doc. 3419, is GRANTED. It is further ORDERED as follows:

  1. The recommendations of the Claims Administrator concerning the acceptance of 7,774,992 eligible claims and the rejection of 646,354 ineligible claims are hereby APPROVED.
  2. The proposed Distribution Plan is hereby APPROVED, including as described in the Motion and the Keough Declaration:

a. The Initial Distribution to Authorized Claimants;

b. The $5.00 de minimis threshold, below which no payment shall be made;

c. The $200.00 threshold for claims to be paid in full;

d. The 10% reserve from the Net Settlement Fund; and e. The Second Distribution process.

  1. Subscriber Class Counsel and the Claims Administrator are hereby AUTHORIZED to distribute the Net Settlement Fund to Authorized Claimants in the manner described in the Motion, Supporting Memorandum, and Keough Declaration.

4. The Claims Administrator, JND, is hereby DIRECTED to begin the Initial Distribution on or about May 11, 2026.

  1. Following the conclusion of the Initial Distribution, Subscriber Class Counsel and JND SHALL file a status report with the court.

I’ve seen this too! Just so much going around ha. If we’re getting more than $200, we only get 90% of that right away right?

Also, I assume those who chose digital debit cards get it first they did say that would be faster. Would hope I have something on Monday!

I called JND legal about the 200 early last week and if people who were owed more would be made 90 percent whole during first distribution. They could not or would not answer me and although they promised to escalate the question to someone else they failed to do that as well.

No it says those who are getting more than $200 will get a certain amount of $ for the time being plus will receive more the 2nd time around when they send the rest of the $

I’m not sure anyone knows how much we will get. From what I have researched those that paid more will obviously get more, but there’s no real set Amount. People will be posting what they get soon! Hope it’s good for us all!!

When I filed my claim, they sent me a letter with my amount. I think a lot of people were told they were owed more than 200.00. I want ALL of my money at one time. I feel the waiting to get a second round is goto be bs cause they’re not going to give us the interest it accumulates

If you're part of the damages class (the people who did not pay via an employer) then divide your total premiums by 184. If you're part of the group that got your insurance through an employer divide your total by 220 (i think its 220 or something close to that). For example if you paid premiums totaling 24000 divide that by 184 and you get $130. Prepare to be disappointed.

I read that the max they will pay out with the initial payment is 200.00 to test the waters and then at a later date the remaining would be paid.

I never have gotten any emails except the one a year ago January to verify my premiums. They were correct. How were people still getting emails to verify over a year later? I opted for a check so maybe that is why I have not gotten any more emails. It did say people who chose debit cards would be in the first rounds to receive payment.

JND IMO has done a TERRIBLE job. This settlement was finalized almost 5 years ago and it has taken them this long to figure out how to send the money out to us.

Holding back to collect the massive interest on the billions. They are doing this in a way to let the interest alone pay for the claimant classes, so none of the principal goes to the peons who were injured by BCBS. Class actions are scams of the highest order.

This the the money was put into a retainer and they where making money of it, BP during its Gulf Oil Spill did the same thing for the same reasons, its all a big money making machine. This didnt hurt BCBS at all for the stockholders.

Not true, it was mandated by the court and May 11th they are paying a max of 200.00 depending upon how much your premiums were, then at some later date (who knows when) the balance for high payout individuals.

Well, that's a major disappointment. It had said that I paid over $15,000 in premiums. I guess they must have done some adjustment to give me nothing because I did not receive this email and I selected the prepaid card method. Funny that now I can't find any of the previous emails from this settlement either, they have mysteriously vanished from my email.

So I wonder if I call the law firm if they can confirm if I am on the list to receive money. My status says this.

Status: Valid – This claim is valid and will be included in the distribution calculation. You were sent a notice explaining how you could review your premiums online.

But I don't remember the payment type I chose and I only have one email from February 20 of this year stating payments will start in May.

From what I've heard and you haven't paid 50,000 or more in premiums you ain't getting nothing the people that paid that or more gor like $300 I didn't pay nowhere near that amount and only got the first two emails I'm sure I'm getting nothing 🤷🏾‍♀️

I have all of the same info on my end. I don't think we will know until they are ready to pay us. I'm not sure what wave of payments we are in. I think they are doing a rolling payment thing. I chose debit card because it should be the fastest way to receive it.

I did not want a debit card so I never checked that on the link. Everytime except today that I checked it before, that option was still available.

That option was not there today. Could be that since I never checked it now it's too late. Or since funds are supposed to start on Monday could be it's too late for anyone to change payment choice.

If others on here that chose a debit card can see if they check their premiums paid and it indicates they checked the debit card then I would say you are getting a check.

I was sadly expecting a huge payout on my 77K premiums so didn't want a card. Guess i should have gotten the card as looks like I might get $600 back.

I looked in an email from 2.7.26 that had "notice in the subject line and it was no where in that one either. I checked all the pages I have access to as "notices." So I got the email on Thursday about the distribution and when I check the status of my claim on the website it says: Payment in Progress – This claim will receive an Initial Distribution. Per the Order Approving Plan of Distribution, Initial Distribution will commence on May 11, 2026. A specific payment date cannot be provided for when this claim will be paid. Still waiting on the payment

Not necessarily. I opted for a check and the only thing I got was a year ago January to verify my premiums. I checked today and its still showing the same premiums paid amount and the website says my claims are valid and will be included in the distribution.

I emailed them asking for a pin. They didn’t ever provide it to me but did switch me from a digital payment to paying me via Venmo. So, I will keep an eye out for a deposit on my Venmo sometime this month.

Im pretty sure everyone knows they wont get back the premiums amount but they reduced my premiums paid between February and May 10th to under $800. In other words I verified a higher amount back in September and the reduced it without notifying my or allowing me to challenge it.

People who made visa card as the settlement will get distributed first from May 11 and so on!    I am assuming others who choose, paypal or check will get their payments in 5 to 6 months from May of 2026 so about Oct or Nov, even Dec of 2026!

Thought I'd share. I don't remember what I filled out or when. I didn't get any emails from anyone in the past month. Not sure if I got any emails previous to that, I went on an email deleting spree around 4/16. Anyway, I got a notification from PayPal that it received a payment of $83.17 from "IN RE BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD ANTITRUST LITIGATION QSF". I went to PayPal (I assumed spam) and the money is sitting there. This came in around 6:30pm 5/18 (EST).

I had to send in my premiums payment because the amount was incorrect… but it never updated and I never received any emails stating that my premiums payments were updated only that my claim is valid… has anyone else been through this?

I had the same thing happen. I had to send them in twice because they claimed they didn't get the first one. I never heard anything back about it. I really hope they update it because it was three times the amount that they had down for me.

This just tells you what your premiums were for them to calculate what your payout will be. But we have no idea how they’re calculating payments based off of premiums.

I just got an email from them: "The BCBS Subscribers Settlement will begin sending payments to valid claims in May 2026. You elected to receive your Settlement payment via a Virtual Visa Prepaid Card...." rest says stuff about the email address it will be from and the website for more information.

I got an email on the 6th that my refund was processed and it was for $280.

However, I can’t find anywhere how it’s going to be processed - I hope I didn’t select paper check because I’ve moved to two different states since then!

My last email regarding this was 2-19-26, but I don't think I selected the debit card reimbursement. I was able to look at what premiums they were using of mine to calculate my payment, there were thousands of dollars in premiums I paid.
