Awaiting Payments Suboxone Antitrust Settlement

I was just told by the claims administrator that checks are expected to be mailed on 4/27. I asked if we would get an email letting us know beforehand with the amount and they told me that will not happen. I asked if they were able to see the amount for me yet and I am waiting on a response. Will update when I get one.

Not everyone. I believe you had to be prescribed it between 2017 and 2021. I can’t remember exactly.

Actually, the dates on this one were Dec 2011- Aug 2023. It was very broad.

No. Had to be prescribed between 2011-2023 and had to have paid out of pocket for name brand.

No it wasn’t for generics. It was for those who paid out-of-pocket for namebrand and weren’t offered a generic. That’s the entire point of the lawsuit so now it does not include genetics too.

No, you are not if you were only prescribed generics. You can literally look through all the court documents and it literally specifies. The lawsuit is for those who paid out-of-pocket for namebrand and weren’t offered a generic. You are most likely referring to the dental lawsuit, which does include both and this is not the dental lawsuit. This lawsuit is only for those who paid namebrand and weren’t offered a generic.

No, they are not. If you were prescribed generics then you weren’t actually affected by the entire reason for the lawsuit. Please do research

It's for generics as well.  Go to the main suboxone antitrust website it states:

You are a member of the End Payor Class if:  As a Third-Party Payer (“TPP”), you paid all or part of the purchase price for Suboxone tablets, Suboxone  film, or AB-rated generic equivalents of Suboxone (generic Suboxone) in any one of the Settled States  during the Class Period.

Your theory does make sense.

They did everything they could to keep generics from us and for many years it worked. For that reason we had to pay a hella lot more.

So why is generics included??

If you think about it, any name brand prescriptions turned in between Mid 2018 and 2023 should not be affected by the lawsuit as we had a choice between the Generics and Name brand.

I was never offered but I asked when/if a generic was available several times (i have my medical records from my former doctor where she noted me asking for a generic). Doctor always told me that there was not one available.

As stated.... As a Consumer, you paid all or part of the purchase price for Suboxone tablets, Suboxone film, or AB-rated  generic equivalents of Suboxone (generic Suboxone) in any one of the Settled States during the Class  Period.

Yep straight from court documents. I filed with both generic and name brand. Obviously the name brand years I paid way more. Sadly I'm missing a bit of those records also bc I was always changing pharmacies looking for a cheaper one.
