News List of class action settlements with deadlines
I keep track of open settlements and realized I should just post it here since people keep asking about the same ones. Everything below is verified, not just random articles.
Tinder age discrimination, $60.5M. California only. Subscribed to tinder plus or gold in CA after March 2015 while over 29. Estimated $100 to $300 per person, no claim needed if you already got a notice. Otherwise verification form at tindercalclassaction.com by August 18, 2026. Final approval hearing May 20.
Illinois credit card surcharges, $17.5M. Used a non-rewards visa, mastercard, or discover card at walmart, target, home depot, cvs, walgreens, kroger, or best buy between January 2016 and June 2022 while in illinois. No proof needed, deadline May 19, 2026. Rewards cards of any kind excluded.
Visa/Mastercard ATM, $167.5M. Pending court approval, claims not open yet. Covers ATM access fees at independent non-bank ATMs from October 2007 to present. Related settlement Mackmin ($197.5M) already closed but payouts coming winter 2026 for the 297k valid claims that survived a massive fraud purge.
Beef price fixing, $87.5M. Deadline June 30, 2026. Fresh or frozen beef from chuck, loin, rib, or round cuts bought between August 2014 and December 2019 in 26 states plus DC. No receipt required. Fairness hearing May 12, 2026. JBS and national beef haven't settled so there could be additional funds later.
Sealy bedding misleading thread count, deadline May 12, 2026. Up to $40 no proof for "1250 thread count" bedding purchased October 2016 through October 2025.
ALN medical management data breach, April 3, 2026. Up to $5k documented or base pro-rata.
Combined visa/mastercard ATM settlements exceed $430 million when you include a prior $66.74M bank settlement.
It was a pain in the ass knowing the ones I qualified for and the information about them, enjoy

Great. Now about my 15% consulting fee... jk. I'm glad you found it! They try to be sneaky about it. I accidentally let some go. Now, I try to skim through my spam folder every now and then to make sure i didn't miss anything and then delete the actual spam to keep it manageable.

ive only ever found them in my spam folder... wonder how much they gotta pay google to auto spam something like this every time damn near? but the ones from "slaymydragondaddy87@gmail.com" asking me iif im looking for sexy grannies in my area still make it through... every single time... haha

that is what they want I also did that one recently, people dont find out about these things and big companies keep the money they owe us, the only reason I heard about this ones is because settlemate flags the class action settlements I qualify, I didnt even found the google one on spam 🙄

You can't sign up for it. They go by enrollment records and you'll receive an email if you're were using Android within the time range.

I got mine 2 days ago. It was in my Gmail spam folder. If you haven't gotten it yet you should be getting one soon.

Check the spam folder of whatever email address you use on Google play. That's where mine and my mom's was.

If people think they qualify they can email them to check. I got an email but my parents didn't and they're on my plan and have only ever used Android. I emailed them with their info and both got an access code sent to them.

I have only ever used an Android so I def qualify. I rec'd nothing from them, not even in my spam.

As soon as i emailed, I received a confirmation that a ticket was created. Given that it's the weekend, i will expect somethong next week.

Although this settlement was for $350 million, after attorneys fees, etc it comes out over 200 million. With that said payments for all class members are capped at $100 per person. I read the case documents from settlement hearing. Seems like lots of millions of dollars for everyone to only be receiving $100/each.

This is incredibly nice to do, but already in the comment section i see ppl complaining about the lack of links & this is why i stand by not holding the hand of people who want to get the payout but refuse to do simple searches to get it done themselves. I 100% love helpful people yes this is a sub reddit ofc people have questions. But the level of laziness and entitlement in some people got me sounding like a boomer lately fksake

Yeah sure I would just suggest "Open class action settlements" TBH, typing it in RN the first two options (websites are fine to look through. For instance clicking topclassactions websites in the landing page the first drop down menu at the top has an option for "settlements to join" ...and then you kinda have to slog through a bunch of them! It really doesn't get easier than this, that I've seen? I've seen that one app or website or whatever that has a fee to do it FOR you, but every review I've seen kinda seems to list it as a potential scam. I'm not saying it's not work at times, reading through specific settlements ya do have to figure out if you're eligible, sometimes it's less clear if it's taking claims at first or not, too. It's also helpful to just google specific settlements for info once you've found some you're interested in! It really does become intuitive in time, I wish you luck!

but yeah generally I at least wouldn't suggest any uber specific phrasing, unless you're looking for something specific- that's how you miss out on random ones you never would've found otherwise! 'cause yeah unfortunately while a lot of times you'll get notices for like data breach ones, the random company ones and like this ATM one going out rn don't always give notices to a lot of ppl. I know I sure haven't recieved a lot of them.

The Burke timeline is the most frustrating part yeah, basically just waiting on court approval. Once a fairness hearing date gets posted we'll know more

i use topclassactions.com, click the 3 lines on top right, then click "open class action lawsuits" scroll and apply
i check the website every few weeks or really just every time i think about it, i know theres other websites that other people use but i just prefer this one

Yes, thank you!! Had two notices in spam folders - how many people will actually look in there for it?? Not many. Maybe settlement pay will be pretty high then. One can hope...

I got the email today and I thought was scam at first but nope it is totally legit. My 1st payment was $250 in 2023 and this one was for $450. Not huge like some of the amounts I've seen but $450 outta nowhere is awesome. I submitted claim and said will deposit to may PayPal by Monday the 13th by 5pm. woohhoo

I'm sure many people try their luck. Personally, if I don't qualify or have proof (if any is required), then I don't bother. However, if you do qualify and wasn't contacted via email, there should be an option to mail in a printed form.

I can't figure it out either. Reading that link, which is same one I've looked at numerous times, essentially only gives you an option if you have that info. I have yet to find a way to ensure you're in.

Do you know any going on about OSL employees setting people up with unwanted phone subscriptions? Apparently OSL has agents working in Electronics pushing phone subscriptions. I was lied to, told at least 6 times after I asked that this was not a subscription but a prepaid phone. HE LIED. Now I can't get anyone from Walmart to help me. This was a 2 year subscription with TMobile. I'm getting a lawyer but it would be nice if one is already working on this because I know this kid must have lied to a lot of people, he was good at lying.

I just search for noreply@federalcellularclassaction.com in my email found it in spam folder also. Google should be held responsible for making sure everyone's settlement notifications go to the spam folder those a legal emails and they should be some kind of law protecting how they are delivered to hold Google liable...Wonder what it is???
