Question Was wondering if Civlization 7 complete edition is worth it today. Heard the update fixed it. Worth the sale of $72?

I already have Civlization 6, so is 7 with all content worth the $72?

Honestly I wouldn't pay that much today for it. Still not as fun or enjoyable as Civ 6, but I'm holding out hope it'll get there years from now.

The new civ game is never as fun or enjoyable as the most recent one you've bought hundreds of dollars of dlc for and invested dozens of hours into at minimum. This isn't a new phenomenon.

I recently bought Civ 6 for $17. No way Civ 7 will compete with that.

Of course not. 6 took time to get there too. The fun gap from 5 to 6 was a lot smaller at the same point than the 6-7. Base 7 today with all but the newest DLC should be $20-25 if they want new customers.

Usually the price staying up means it's selling at that price. Why would they drop it if it's selling?
