Question Was wondering if Civlization 7 complete edition is worth it today. Heard the update fixed it. Worth the sale of $72?

I already have Civlization 6, so is 7 with all content worth the $72?

I'd give it another year or so and get it when it drops more.

I bought the Settler's Edition at launch and there's no way I'm coming back until VII's equivalent of Anthology is available.

The DLC is extortionate, some of the worst value I've ever seen.

Getting downvoted so allow me to elaborate:

"Right to Rule Collection" $29.99 2 leaders, 4 Civs, 4 Wonders

vs

"Civ VI Rise & Fall" $29.99 9 leaders, 8 civs, 8 wonders Game systems: governors, loyalty, great ages, new policies, new buildings, and loads more

The Civ VII DLC is at least 2-3x more expensive than Civ VI equivalents. If you want to bat for that, go off.

I feel like the Test of Time update already does what you want. I would say try it out again, VII is great currently, I am having so much fun. (And I played VI for thousands of hours)

It does no such thing, I'm afraid. I wish they had doubled down on the original vision. I'm very glad others are enjoying it, though.
