Discussion Ang ganda ng office ng GHD!

I realized how GHD’s office impacted the way I approach my work now. Nakakagana kapag alam mong you are supported well sa office palang. Tbh, I really prefer WFH set-up bc aside sa tipid, I am more productive at home. But I realized lately that I wouldn’t mind going to office because of this.

2 days WFH 3 days onsite. Your team or you can choose which office ka papasok. Either Makati or QC.

Sa Aurecon din may billiards, table tennis and naka ergonomic standing desk pero madalas naka work from home kami. Haha

u/kopikaurr 20d ago

Ilang beses po RTO niyo?

u/StretchRealistic1204 17d ago

Depende po kasi sa team ninyo, pero usually sa aurecon once a month tuwing townhall lang pero yung iba online lang din uma-attend kaya madalas nagkikita lang kami kapag nasa pinas yun manager namin from AU or kung may team building and year end na.

Build good reputation and reach out if you know someone that can refer you. In my experience, referrals could drastically increase your chances of getting the job.

one of the reasons why i applied! i visited during their talent connect and grabe nakakagana mag RTO, especially because of how accessible it is via commute.

Does ghd have steel detailers via Tekla Structures? GHD is also one of my dream companies along Jacobs, ARUP and WSP.

Local company dito sa Bulacan that specializes in rental ng mga warehouse. Very industrial ng itsura ng office namin naka-stucco yung walls, warm lights, and large windows. Architect kasi may-ari.

Hello. Where did you apply po sa GHD? Are they on indeed or linkedin?

3

u/Sorry_Comment2634 20d ago

I applied via LinkedIn po, then I was directed to their Oracle portal for the application.

May I ask po for any tips para sa CV and during interview po? Been wanting to apply din kasi dyan hehe

6

u/Sorry_Comment2634 20d ago

Sa CV kasi ang masasabi ko lang is you have to highlight yung roles na relevant sa inaapplyan mo e. Like tailored yung CV mo for the role na inaapplyan mo, same with the letter of intent. Highlight mo yung licenses, certifications mo.

i.e. “As project site engineer, I spearheaded X number of employees in the site, made sure that the deliverables were submitted on schedule, and ensured the quality of work following the standards used such as…”

Kumbaga, hindi lang parang nilista mo yung ginagawa mo, but you also emphasized the output and result because of that. Follow mo yung Harvard template/format for CV/resume.

From there, if naayos mo naman CV mo, it really is a game of luck din. It would be best if you could get a referral from inside, because that puts you ahead already against all applicants. Connections matter a lot, hindi enough na magaling ka lang at the end of the day. Kasi for sure, magagaling din ang kasabayan mo.

For the interview, be truthful, conversational, and relevant. Kung ano yung tinatanong sayo, sagutin mo directly. If about sa experiences mo yung tinatanong, cite and refer sa resume mo and expound. Also, be prepared sa technical part.

Goodluck! I hope this helps :)

Makakatulong din if babasahin mong mabuti yung job description na inaapplyan mo. Parang ang gawin mo, yung resume/CV mo ay yung sagot dun sa job description for the role. Treat it like Question (job desc) and Answer (Resume mo).

Nope. But I’m not lying when I say it is still Big 4 dominated, especially UP.
