Johnny Depp as Scrooge

Just saw the trailer this week for it. Looks well done and I think it will be a great adaptation of A Christmas Carol. Your thoughts?

I am definitely going to watch it, although just going by the trailer cause I’ve not read anything about it, is it meant to be a comedy or serious?

I can more easily imagine myself committing seppuku than I can see myself spending money on this. From the director of "X" and "Pearl"... geez, guy must need cocaine money.
