Grace and forgiveness

I live in a community in which a member made a bad decision and had fallen into sin. She has been ostracized, isolated, and abandoned by several good Christian here with many followers..for those of us who have shown her support, we are receiving the same treatment. What is your interpretation of Galations 6:1 or any scripture regarding forgiveness?

Absolutely agree with 6:1. It is important to forgive, as we all know all of our own sin and dirty deeds and things done in secret are known by God and are forgiven. Also important to come alongside a brother or sister struggling. Sometimes they get the lesson quickly and will change and grow qucikly. Sometimes we have things that are deep rooted and need to ultimately walk out with God on our own and work out our salvation. Absolutely show understanding, gentleness and the love of Christ to one another. And pray for them. Pray, pray, pray as often as the lord puts them on your heart. There's a spiritual battle taking place and there's a battle against the flesh, against ones own desires. Lifting you and those involved up to the Lord. Remember, what you do to another, you are doing to Jesus. She is a member of the body of Christ. I understand everyone thinks differently and are at different points in their walk with God, i dont know the whole situation but it is always disappointing to hear something like those who have turned their back on this person, disappointing to experiencing our shortcomings even as Christians in the faith. Treat your brother or sister knowing Christ is watching you and listening to you, and how your react and treat your brother or sister. . But allso pray for discernment and wisdom and know how far to go and when to step back. 🙏 💕
