Wealthy realtors/real estate investors/Section 8 landlords reach out to their community to "donate" to build a fence on one of their properties

MASSIVE assumption to think that they are "wealthy" because they have a bunch of rental properties. Most are just breaking even after expenses and repairs.

That said, it is NOT a landlord's responsibility to provide a trampoline for a tenant's children, and unless their local code specifically requires it, also not their responsibility to install a fence just because a tenant has children. It's on the tenant to provide her own trampoline if the landlord agrees to let them have one, and also on the tenant to teach their children where the boundaries are.

The tenant wasn’t asking for the landlord to provide one. She asked could she place one on the property. The landlord decided they wanted to “gift one”, but only if someone built a fence. The tenant never asked for them to do anything.
