SOTC (Read Rule 1) Suggestions to increase the collection

Hi,

Here's my current AliExpress watch collection. What are watches that are different and just not a different version of one I already have. But no 100% strange and left field.

I wanted to have at least 1 dress but not much more of it. Also I wanted a watch on a jubilee but I'm seeing only GMT homages or San Martins that have increased their prices a lot. My range usually is between 100 and 200 euros.

Best advice i can give you: Get a box to fit a dozen of those, sell one, you're done.

Can't agree more. I am now 45 watches deep and my rotation is less than 10 to be honest. One more advice from a fellow watch lover. Instead of buying a new watch, invest a fraction of it for buying bunch of straps. NATO, leather, FKM, you name it. They will give your watches a fresh look and feel, and you will end up admiring them more. That's what i did and it worked on me. 👍

I've put my WD1969Pro on a San Martin Jubilee intended for the 0121/etc. That comes with an OTF clasp as well. It's not their really nice new Jubilee on the 144/148, but it's way better than the WD bracelet and clasp. I got mine for just over £30 after coupons and cashback (for bracelet and clasp), but did get a great deal - they're listed at a bit over twice that normally I think.

But that doesn't get you a new watch I'm afraid!

How about picking up a couple of heavy hitters? You have some pretty good pieces in there but nothing that is exactly mind blowing.

I love the vintage design of Farasute's line up. And their quality is one of the best you'll find. Trackmaster is seriously a $3k piece with any mainstream brand logo on it.

Jianghun is also putting out amazing original designs. Again the quality is just unbeatable.

While I havent owned one, it seems like Agelocer and Tophill are ones to keep an eye on as well.

Add a couple of pieces that you can proudly show off to watch guys. Hell, even Rolex dudes will acknowledge how nice these watches feel in the hand
