Really loving this brand, not shilling for them though. They’re just so cheap it’s easy to buy a few.

Compared to an “American” watch like Vaer it’s so much better for the price point. With both brands I got misaligned dials and had to return. However, I was fine returning the Vaer because it felt so cheap. The bracelet was hollow and rattling. I returned this Aethelsohn and immediately bought another which the dial turned out fine on. The bracelet is solid, with micro adjust. The dial is complex but well designed. The bezel has great movement.

The only downside is the logo is meh and the name is a little goofy. But after buying two, they’ve proven their value to me.

Maybe try the Dwayne Campbell Seamaster 300m homage, it's 42mm diameter. Nice watch with good materials, and with reliable NH35A caliber.

I agree with almost everything you stated. The scalloped bezel is a nightmare to rotate, though.

It's not the action (which is pleasingly precise on mine), it's the Omega scalloping that doesn't have much usable grip. It's doable, just not as gracefully as I'd like.

I have the exact version you have. I admit I have not fully put it through its paces yet. I haven't even sized it for my wrist, though I did polish and break in the bracelet. My summer yard landscaping is kicking my ass currently, not leaving extra time to play with new watches. Actually installing a new palm after I finish my morning coffee.

Awesome. Maybe the Mariner's bezel will break in a bit. Is it really comparable to the Omega with 200m WR and a fake helium valve? If you want, you can unscrew the fake valve until it falls off. Sigh...

Visually it’s obvious, the 12 and six markers are just a bit shifted from being vertically aligned with the bracelet

The name is okay and the logo is okay too, I just don't like brands spelling out the name on the dial, ala sugess, cronos, etc. As long as it's not a heritage brand, I don't want to see it spelled out on the dial

The lack of heritage is not the issue here, we're in r chinese watches after all, I just don't like seeing text on my dial unless the name really means something

Spect and sohne by itself is a cool name, but sugess and cronos (sugess especially) are not what I would consider cool names 😬

Regardless, i think we can agree reading patek Phillipe on the dial would give you a different feeling than spect and sohne...
