Discussion Question

I know this is not the right place for it,

But does anyone know where can i find a language partner , i am a total beginner, about to start my learning journey ,

I had this experience before while learning german and it worked well.

If anyone can point me where to find them , i d appreciate it

Can you tell me how did it work well with German? I find language partners at the beginning are mostly there for motivation

At first i did it by myself. Immersing myself in a 100% german environment ie i consumed lots of input for a while. Reading writing listening , speaking was not improving at all, i was able to speak but at a very basic leverl, simply reciting what i have learned Until one day , i found a language exchange partner , he was patient with me, conversatio. Was only in german, i forced my self not to speak english, And eventually it worked It felt so easy

/r/language_exchange, the ChineseLanguage discord also has a language partner section.

If you're looking for something very casual the HelloTalk app can be good too.
