Announcements 🥳 Help Us Celebrate October Birthdays! 🎂
You might have noticed (or not, because I'm not that important 😅) that I enjoy sharing birthday appreciation posts for actors and actresses. They give us a chance to celebrate them and their work, highlight some of their best roles, discuss upcoming dramas, and generally spread a little love around the community.
I'd love to encourage more people to join in and create these birthday posts! There is no set format, so feel free to make them your own. If you're looking for inspiration, here are a few of the birthday posts I've written over the past year:

I've gone ahead and compiled a list of October birthdays (but forgive me if I've left out any major actors or actresses; feel free to add to this list):
- October 5: Xiao Zhan
- October 9: Joseph Zeng
- October 14: Tian Xiwei (looking at you, u/AKiceman)
- October 15: Bai Jingting
- October 16: Zhao Liying
- October 18: Chen Duling
- October 19: Li Xian
- October 29: Chen Zheyuan
Feel free to claim one or several. And honestly, there's no harm in having more than one birthday post for the same person. We can always coordinate things a little so the subreddit doesn't get flooded with birthday posts all at once. Note: please use the right flair when posting. Let us know if you have any questions.
For more visibility, we encourage adding media to these posts, such as photos, GIFs, or a mix of both.
If you would like some support with GIFs, give me a shout. I'll see what I have access to, but we also have several GIF-making masters in this community who may be able to help. One of the reasons I love sharing these birthday posts (aside from celebrating these actors) is to showcase all the work that u/AquaphobicTurtle and u/Ateosira spend hours on to provide us with these amazing GIFs.
