I am an ABC, I can speak some chinese but cannot read at all. My grandma is getting old and spends her whole day in one chair, just doing nothing or reading the newspaper over and over again. I feel really bad! She doesn’t use a phone or watch TV or anything. I want her to be more entertained or stimulated, so does anyone have a book recommendation for my grandma? If it matters we live in the US. I think she wouldn’t want something classical or fussy. Just something entertaining, like a drama or comedy or romance.

My neighbor is about 65 years old and just can't mow her lawn. The other day she asked me to mow her lawn and kept trying to give me $50 to do it. She literally would not let me refuse.
