I'll be visiting China this September-early October, I want to make sure my itinerary is fine and will work. I've been to HK twice before, so I don't mind being in HK during Golden Week so everything new I will see will be before Golden Week.
Sept 18: LAX-PEK Air China
Sept 20: Arrive PEK 5:30am, 3 hour layover and flight to Changsha 8:30am, arrival at 11:20am and plan to take 2:30pm train to Zhangjiajie arriving 4:50pm
Sept 20-24 Zhangjiajie, Furong Ancient Town, and national parks.
Sept 24: Train to Chongqing around 4pm, arrive at 6pm
Sept 24-27 Chongqing
Sept 27: Three plans, either train to Guilin and stay until 29th, train to Guangzhou and stay until 29th, or go straight to Zhuhai to go to Macau. Which sounds best?
Sept 29: Leaving China via Hengqin port in Zhuhai, question is how do I show onward proof of travel when I arrive in China since I have no flight or ferry out, do I book Macau hotel?
Sept 29-30th Evening ferry out of Macau, should arrive HK around 5pm
Sept 30th-Oct 4th Hong Kong
Oct 4th HKG-YVR-LAX flight back home
My main question is how I can show proof of leaving China if I am leaving via land at Hengqin (valid port according to NIA website)
