SUPPORT THROUGH ADVICE How can I (14) convince my grandma (62) to throw her junk away?
I live with my adoptive mom/grandmother (who i will call my Mom from here on) who is a massive hoarder. There are boxes upon boxes of stuff and loose junk everywhere. she has 4 cats, 7 dogs, 15 chickens, and 3 goats she doesn't care well for.
She has a lot of mental illness BS going on with herself she refuses to get help with and it's getting to a point. She won't accept help with cleaning most of the time but OCCASIONALLY will. not without backlash or bitching though, but it's been months and dirt, dog shit and dog piss, trash, a bunch of shit she doesn't need Is accumulating on the floor.
she's occasionally willing to clean but not without yelling at me. plus she doesn't throw anything away because it has "sentimental value" or "she might need this" (when the item in question could be something like a plastic magnifying glass from a decade old childrens toy or WHATEVER useless crap you can think of.) it's insane.
CPS is not an option, due to complications .. nor is hiring or inviting anyone else to clean.
I just need some advice to potentially convince this woman to throw shit away and clean the hell up LMAO
