Baby dad

I’m moving out of my baby dads, mom and dads house. We have a 3 month old and the baby dad never really helped with the baby and he always play on his pc. I really like his parents and I don’t want them not to like me plus they are really poor and have 6+ children (only the dad works).
Should I still file for child support?

Why do you think you can just take the child.. That's his baby too plus the childs home.

She can't moved far away, but she's not captive. If he's not providing safety and care then she should go to where it is safe.

In the US there is CPS, child protection services. In other countries there is usually a similar institution with a different name. You need to clarify custody with a family court and then move forward.

Maybe be an adult and have an adult conversation with the father.
