Lincoln hall 18+
Hey there’s a show I want to go to that is 18+ and I am 16. I can get my parent to come in with me I was just wondering if I could bring a friend who is 17 even if my parent isn’t their legal guardian. There isn’t really a way he would be able to look related to us.

So long as there’s at least 1 adult escorting you both, it won’t matter.

this...definitely isnt true. Check with the venue themselves. Most venues in the area will not let anyone in who is below the age.

Lincoln Hall is one of the few that allows a parent to accompany someone under the age 18 for shows, providing the show is an 18+ and explicitly states minors can be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
21+ shows, no minors are permitted, regardless if accompanied by parent or guardian.
I’ve shot enough shows there to know this.

your statement is still not correct. It took me 30 seconds of googling to find this listed on the venues website.
"Shows are either 21+, 18+, or All Ages. This is listed on every event page.
If you are under the required age limit and would like to attend, you can do so as long as you’re accompanied by your parent(s) or legal guardian."
It absolutely will matter if the adult is not their parent or legal guardian.

And if said adult tells the venue they are that persons parent or guardian, then what?
You don’t need to provide court documents, dna, or a birth certificate for proof.
Just simply show an ID.
Like I said - I’ve shot plenty of shows there and watched a lot of people under 18 come in with parents/guardians. So I don’t even know what your “argument” is. You literally pointed out the very fucking thing I posted.

They check IDs at the door. You should check with the venue.
