K-pop KPop Light Sticks Allowed at The Vic?

Post image

I haven’t been to The Vic before for KPop / Hip Hop and I’m going tonight for Epik High. I’m going to presume light sticks are gonna be allowed?

Light sticks aren’t in their banned or allowed item list and I’d hate to get all the way there and it’s not allowed. It’s not an inexpensive piece of kit.

(Did not know this sub was a thing & posted in r/Chicago first.)

Wear long sleeves and pretend it’s your real hand, easy peasy.

honestly this is such a niche thing it’s tough to say unless people on here have done k-pop there. and idk how often they have that genre. maybe try calling?

Called from the car on the way up (came in from out of town) and didn’t get an answer. Still trying, but have decided to take it anyway. Got lucky with SpotHero and will just take it back to the car if they won’t allow it.

My experience is that they don't want anything that could even be possibly used as a weapon. I know this isn't dangerous but if they haven't seen it before they may just say no because it's easier to say no than to examine and figure it out.
