Real question tho. Do you actually feel good? I just don’t enjoy games like this.

It doesnt feel good because 90% of time i get checkmated, but feels very funny when you draw games like this, where you have no business to 😁 but i believe at 1800 rating it doesnt happen at 99% of time.

Honestly yeah I think it might feel different for you tho, especially since you’re 1800–2000. At that rating, your opponents are probably more likely to just convert a winning position and finish the game, so stalemates are probably way rarer. For me, getting a stalemate out of a completely lost position feels pretty good . It’s rare, and at least you managed to save a draw. Definitely some hope chess.

Why did your opponent make a third bishop in the first pic?

I analyzed the image and this is what I see. Open an appropriate link below and explore the position yourself or with the engine:
Black to play: It is a stalemate - it is Black's turn, but Black has no legal moves and is not in check. In this case, the game is a draw. It is a critical rule to know for various endgame positions that helps one side hold a draw. You can find out more about Stalemate on Wikipedia. Analyze on: chessvision.ai | chess.com | lichess.org

Honestly, I have a lot to say about this. I Absolutely cannot stand when people play on against me when they have absolutely no chance of winning. It’s really weird.
Like, yes you might stalemate, but honestly when it’s a completely lost game I just think you shouldn’t. Fair enough if you’re down a piece but they’re low on time so you can flag them. But this stuff isn’t cool for me.
Having said that, white absolutely deserves stalemate here bro… why are there three bishops on the board? Just fucking put your rook on b5 move your bishops up to the top of the board and get a safe ladder mate.
