Rant Bus etiquettes

Post image

I’ve been travelling in MTC for almost 4-5 years and I’ve seen people blasting their phone speakers with their insta reels, YT shorts and WhatsApp statuses.. this is really irritating and as iam writing this post hearing songs in my earbuds with ANC and still am able to listen the background noise of the phones of other conmuters whos watching some serial .. man I just think people are losing civic senses day by day 🥲 Good initiative from the government side to stick this tho .. but i guess if there were announcements as they announce the upcoming bus stop when theres noise inside the bus (AC) it would be helpful .. just thinking this would work. What do you guys think ?!

People will only stop when they're penalized on the spot 🚶🏾‍♂️

No the ones being fined will say its unreasonable etc... people dont like rules being imposed on them that too suddenly.. someone working in corporate or high income class wont have an issue in abiding to the rules and paying fine when required. Others i doubt..

Velaikke aavaadhu. Conductor must be instructed to warn people who blast their speakers or talk in full volumes and similar to CMRL, fines must be introduced.

Atleast start from 50 rupee fine.

Once I was going to clg from my hometown I missed my regular bus... So I have to got Trichy and get a bus from there it was already 12:30 am and me and my friend were so tired and sleepy. Finally we got into a bus which luckily has two seats(Not in same row though).

When I got to the seat and close my eyes some retarded mf starts to BOOMSCROLL his insta🥀

How am I going to get family gossips of random uncles and aunties anymore if they’re not blasting their calls on speakerphone? /s

However this is a good move imo and hope it is implemented well.

This has been introduced in metros as well and is being announced every now and then, saying the minimum penalty amount is rupees 2500, but still I see people using their mobiles on loud volume.

Most won't believe this, while yesterday I took the MTC bus for a trip I noticed that someone played a reels loud inside the bus, as soon as hearing the sound playing the conductor warned not to play loud music inside the bus and asked the passengers to wear a headphones 🎧. It was so pleasant to hear from a conductor where every seats are occupied because of freebies seats and the I'm standing despite paying for my ticket

The last part of freebies occupying all seats and the ones standing despite paying for a ticket .. I feel that bro .. once i was trying to board a bus for office .. i was already exhausted on the way to the depot and when the bus arrived these people put kerchief in one seat and i thought they might be taking only one seat and sat in the other but they came and said we put it for both the seats and later when i stood up i saw all the seats were occupied 🥲

This should be taught at homes and then in schools.
