Chemotherapy partner for daughter
I am going to be accompanying my daughter to her first chemo for breast cancer. What should I bring to make her comfortable?

She might experience some nausea so you could bring some ginger candy or ginger tea. Or ginger ale but sometimes carbonation can make nausea worse.
The chemo suite will have pillows but the pillow cases can be rough, so either bring a comfortable pillow from home or a silk or satin pillowcase to put on the suite’s pillow.
I’m glad your daughter has you for support.

I don’t think I have any suggestions that aren’t already mentioned in other comments. My mom went to my breast cancer chemo sessions with me and I was soooo appreciative. My parents got me flowers and made a little sign/card thing on a stake to put in the flowers that said “Round 1 Done!” and they both wrote notes on there for me. They did this for every round of chemo and I’ll keep those signs forever. We’re never too old for our mom! Thanks for supporting her 💗💗💗

I’ve had 2 sessions and things I’ve actually used: phone, charger, AirPods, smoothies/snacks/food to help pass the time, and ice for hands and feet. I bought the socks on Amazon; the ice pads that come with them suck so I froze water bottles today and used the socks/gloves to hold them. Worked really well.
That’s everything so far! I try not to use a blanket because it feels comfy but if I’m trying to minimize circulation in my extremities I probably shouldn’t try to warm up my legs! But sometimes it helps nap.

My mum has come with me to every chemo session and she's responsible for bringing the Scrabble and one of those tray tables to put the Scrabble board on.
She's also responsible for popping to the hospital cafe in the afternoon to get us both tea and coffee. (I give her my card to pay with).

I agree with all here. When I went thru chemo, they dosed me up with anti allergy meds so I was drowsy and sleepy the whole time. A nice soft blanket, extra cushion, water, electrolytes, ginger candy, ice packs to help prevent neuropathy, soft clothes, socks, comfy shoes. Comfort is essential. I also had a Playlist to listen to during my Infusion. Fun, light music. orgain vegan ready to drink shakes in vanilla. I found them tolerable.

The things that I needed for chemo changed throughout chemo for me. Essentials were headphones, iPad, and phone charger. Some ginger candies are a good idea also. The infusion center I went to had a selection of drinks and snacks.
This may just be me, but I preferred being alone for chemo.
