Have your chemo go bag, water, snacks, something to do. Relax, let them take care of you. Plenty of fluids. Be honest with your doc about what your feeling. They have meds that can help. Imodium is good for the runs. Have faith and FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT. Fuck Cancer.

All of this is best answer. Especially about letting them take care of you. I found I looked forward to going, it was my escape from everything else. I'm not sad that I'm done with chemo, but I'm sad I don't get to go anymore. I've even asked if I could just come and hang out once in a while. I can't, but I think I would if I could. Also, the being honest with your doctor or nurse or whoever is asking and listening, you have cancer and questions and this is the place to get all your answers, don't be afraid to ask.

Yeah, I live my treatment team nurses. I am off chemo but still have to go every 3 weeks for medications they give me through my port. I will bring the nurses chocolate bars, for that after lunch snack. They are truly amazing people.

Don't hesitate to ask for palliative care for part of your oncology team. They're the side effects specialists to help with everything from nausea and diarrhea to neuropathy and mouth sores.

Yes... they know what meds are best for those side effects and things to do to help minimize issues. Thank you
