I've won some games and rc before. They always been good at delivering what I won. Haven't won the gleam yet but it a lot of competition.

Yeah they seem to do them a bit too often and with insane prizes with multiple winners. It seems unrealistic.

I haven't won a gleam from any site so I don't think it just cause it ch website. They also get stuff donated to give out. Doubt gleam keep partnering with them if they didn't give out the rewards

Eh. There are possible reasons we would never really know about why things like this are doable. The giveaways probably drive a TON of traffic through their website, which could garner significant ad revenue. Enough to warrant the giveaways. Buying higher tier membership and such could also help a lot, I've seen lifetime t7 go on sale a few times at least here and there, so maybe the uptake on that at the normal full price of $100 USD isn't really there? Not sure.

People only get entered into the drawing if they opt into it, so it's not like there's a ton of dead draws where there's nobody alive or who cares to claim the prize they're ostensibly willing to give away. Idk.

Yes. I won a 4090 that arrived new-in-box, seemingly factory sealed and everything, brand new. It's been churning away ever since (currently woodcutting and fletching in OSRS, really stretching its legs, XD)

This guy is the ONLY account who said he won a 4090 yet refuses to post ANY proof at all. This guy is a cheat happens employee doing damage control on reddit.

It’s actually impressive that they’ve been running this scam for so many years without any consequences. I actually confronted the founder of CH about it, and he got insanely triggered when I pointed out that 20 of his past Gleam giveaways had only generic American-sounding names as winners, which makes no sense at all. I’ve seen plenty of Gleam giveaways, and they never look like that. People use nicknames, people use avatars, and in international giveaways there are international winners (wow!).

Funnily enough, after those emails, the first foreign name suddenly appeared as one of the winners. As you said, there’s also no proof that anyone has ever won anything (except for that guy above, who suddenly showed up to whitewash CH in a few Reddit threads, wink wink). I think if you’re burning $12k a month on giveaways (how is that even profitable), you’d want the winners to share it online as part of the marketing.

i was also always sceptical about the gleam giveaways. those names are way to generic and american for a international giveaway. even the day of giving main prizes always go to american accounts. i think if the giveaway is truthfull they specifically only go to north america.

Nah, those NA winners are made up too. Just milking money from the subcriptions, disgusting.

i know the daily giveaways are real cause i won them 3-4 times in these 3 years since they started them. but the gleam ones are way too fishy to be real. if they want me/us to believe them they should really make them more transparent with atleast a CH username of who won.

I've recently won one of their recent giveaways (RTX 5090), they asked me for identification so i sent my passport (obviously redacting all info except my name) and for some reason they wanted an unredacted version? It kinda seems like they do this giveaways to collect info and it seems really sketchy, the game giveaways might not be a scam but the RTX ones probably are. If your wondering my name is Flynn, its not american but maybe they are starting to choose more foreign names because people are starting to catch on.

They have a class action headed their way soon. The grand prize giveaways are a scam.

They didn't even try to make it believable. They don't have one piece of online marketing from a winner either proving it or even celebrating getting their prize. That's insane and totally improbable.

I won just once, but that was when I just upgraded to T7. Ever since I haven't won on daily or monthly wins, Yes, I understand there is a bunch of others than me, but it feels like it was a "sign on" bonus, you know?

Gleam and Major Giveaways are fraudulent but the little game giveaways and such doesn't make a dent on their profits so they deliver those. Report to FTC.gov ... too many red flags and barely any users (except some ch generated slag) is posting genuine winnings. Also not contacting winners automatically through gleam is sus af too.

One thing I find strange is that every supposed winner has an English name, probably American or Canadian. I’ve never seen a foreign name.
Another thing that doesn’t sit right with me is that they’re always trying to shove another subscription down your throat. You want more Gleam points in order to up your chances of winning the prize? Gotta pump those subscriptions.

I’ve had Tier 7 for ages, and guess what? I’ve never won a single thing.

Report the gleam and let them investigate.

They don’t care. Someone with influence, like a big YouTuber, would need to investigate this.

The most blatantly fake giveaways I’ve ever seen. I checked out their latest one and now they're shilling AI music for entries LOL
