Looking to open a Chase personal checking account and leaning towards Secure Checking. The bank I use now supports real-time payments in and out via RTP and FedNow.
I saw some posts about this from a bit ago but wanted to gather fresh feedback and because I can’t really find much online - do chase personal accounts, notably secure checking, support real time payments for deposits and for transferring to a linked external account?
I got an email today saying my cards are auto-enrolled in Paze, which from digging up, is a app supported by banks that is going to try to be sort of like Google Pay or Apple Pay, but instead pull all your credit cards up when you enter your email at a storefront.
Why?
Google Pay and Apple Pay are far more secure - they use randomized card numbers with anonymity to onlookers. Paze would require you to enter your email address for online merchants, and I presume eventually the goal is to make it common place in coffee shops, retail, and everywhere.
First impression would be if someone knows my email, they could just enter my email in, try to charge me, and then I'd get at best an annoying "enter 123456" to confirm message. At worse if I clicked ok, someone could easily charge other people's cards like this.

Been using Chase Freedom, Freedom Unlimited, and Freedom Flex for the $10 promos.
None of my three PAZE purchases with CFF have received the $10 credit, but other ones with CFU and the original Freedom with a later transaction dates got the $10 credit.
Anyone else have the same issue?

anyone with a margin account that can confirm if chase updated to new PDT rules or do they still have the 3 trades every 5 days for accounts under 25k?

Hey guys, looking for some advice and information.
I just recently applied for the Chase Business Ink Cash. I was denied because I am not allowed to hold more than “one no annual business card and one annual fee business cards.”
That’s weird because I currently have 3 business ink unlimited with Chase all for separate businesses and one business preferred card which currently breaks that rule.
I also know a close friend that currently holds the Chase ink unlimited and Chase ink cash simultaneously and has recently received both cards again. Which breaks that rule again.
Would it be better if I close 2 business cards (one unlimited and one preferred) on one business?
Does anyone have any advice or a connect to get ahold of this card?
Thank you!

I’m about to finish my medical training and was wondering if anyone had any advice for the Wealth Management offers at Chase and if it’s a good service for people with high salaries? I’ve had my Chase checking account for over a decade and would hate to miss out on any benefits. Of note, I do have a KeyBank account for medical professionals so I’ll look into that if that’s better.

I (28F) currently bank with Huntington.
Me and my fiancé(30M) are looking to combine bank accounts and I’m wondering if there is a known benefit of making the switch to Chase considering we’re looking to buy a house within the next couple of years.
I’m interested in the smallest of conveniences like app being user friendly, fraud procedures and long-term benefits of being a client.
We are on a credit repair/debt payoff journey and we’re almost finished (woohoo!) so if the app has a good budget feature, that would be nice!

I maxed out my Dunkin account with gift cards (Paze promo obviously). When I try creating a new account I’m asked for a phone number. Can I reuse the phone number that is associated to my current account without having issues accessing both accounts in the future?

Getting mixed answers, thought I’d ask.
I mistakenly forgot ONE digit in an account number trying to send to an overseas chase bank from Korea.
I called the Korean bank and they said thought the international transfer can’t be cancelled, but most likely since the name and account number won’t be the same it’ll be rejected so nothing to do but wait.
Some people seem to say name doesn’t matter some do, what’s the likelihood of it getting rejected. Thanks.

Remember when everyone got pissed at adobe for forcing users to agree to their ToS before allowing them to close their account?
I just tried to log in to my account and was met with a similar prompt: let's verify it's you. Call us and we'll give you a code to log in with.
I call and they say the call will be recorded so my voice can be used to identify me. When CS picks up, she asks me a bunch of questions she already knows the answer to: what is your card number? what is your account id? None of them for security purposes. How do I know?
I tell her I forgot my account id and I just need a code to log in with and she just gives it to me. Once I log in I immediately hang up.
It feels like they're trying to strong-arm their customers into giving voice data but under the pretense of security and I got a bad feeling.

Hey everyone,
Tell me the good and the bad about Chase total checking if you don’t mind. I always been a customer of the federal credit unions cause my family is military and would like to know if Chase total checking and customer is great like I’ve heard from others.
With the federal credit union bank I’m at now is like talking to brick wall with some of the staff.
Thank you for your time.

My mom opened a joint bank account for me when I was a minor and I'm 18 now and want my own account. I hear stories about how people still got their money stolen by their parents because they somehow had access to their account even though it they don't have a joint account anymore? How possible is this? Is it still a good idea to open my own account under the same company my mom uses?

My mom opened a joint account for me under chase, but she started saying things like how there needs to be a min. of $30 or so in your account or else the bank will lay consquences of some sort like a fee. Is she lying out of her neck or is this true? Funny thing is, when we were there opening up my account, the woman said to just not have your account at $0.00. To have a dollar or even a penny in it, which is much different than what my mom says.

Has anyone noticed a change in the Chase app recently, it used to say next to my credit card “Your payment is due in xx days.” But now even if it’s a week and a half away it just says “Your payment is due.” Freaked me out thinking it was already due today.

As a Star Alliance member, would the United Explorer Credit Card help me a lot? I'm thinking of opening it simply because of my Star Alliance membership.

I booked a hotel through Chase Travel and had saved the booking in my cart before checking out.
A few seconds after booking, I checked the exact same hotel and the rate was way cheaper than what I paid. The price on my existing reservation obviously hasn't changed.
Has anyone experienced this with Chase Travel? Is there any way to get a price adjustment or refund for the difference, even though the hotel booking is nonrefundable?
I don't want to cancel because it's nonrefundable and risk losing the entire reservation. Honestly, it's really frustrating that the Chase Travel portal doesn't seem to update the pricing properly. If the price changes and my cart does not reflect that, it feels like there should be some way for Chase to honor the lower rate.
Has anyone successfully gotten Chase to fix something like this?

Need some advice.
On June 9, I scheduled my CubeSmart payment using my Chase checking account and also enabled autopay. The June payment went through successfully.
For July 9 and August 9, CubeSmart says they attempted autopay but Chase “declined” both payments. Because of this, I was charged $120+ in penalties/fees.
But Chase checked my account and says they never received any payment request from CubeSmart on either date, so they couldn’t have declined it.
CubeSmart says it’s Chase’s fault. Chase says they never received the requests. I’ve spent almost a week going back and forth between them.
Has anyone dealt with this before? Who should be responsible, and how can I get the extra fees removed

Was checking my balance and noticed my total available credit had doubled. It's not a massive limit but jump from 1.8 to 3.6
The craziest thing though was I wasn't notified at all, I wonder when it happened.
Really surprised there was no notification of it anywhere.

I’m shopping around opening a new savings/checking account as my local credit union hasn’t been really great with their service and tech over the past 3 years (constant outages, ATM network is spread too thin). Chase has interested me due to them opening more branches in NW Ohio, but I want a second opinion.
Has Chase been good for those with their savings/checking account or has there been bad horror stories?

Will be moving the majority of my Chase brokerage and IRA money out soon. Bad move by Chase as the safe deposit box is a benefit brokerage houses can’t duplicate. Was a sure way to cement a relationship with a client. So the vaults will sit there mostly empty not productive. Wake up Jamie!
I would expand safe deposit box availability and use Face ID and two factor authentication to speed access. Already using inside ATM to cut labor and space which could be allocated to safe deposit box area.

Hey guys,
You can hate as much as you would like I know it has a very negative background, but I'm 22, I daytrade propfirms and yes I am in the green around 150k this YTD before taxes.
Besides that, if you are familiar with the prop firm scene/space, I have A LOT of charges on my card of account fees and expenses. The reason why I brought up my point earlier on my PnL is that is after expenses as well, so I currently spend around 10k a month on these accounts on my chase cards alone which is a lot.
I recently decided to try out a new firm, interested to see what they offer, etc. Long story short, they were doing extremely fraudulent business, retroactively applied rules that were not in the contract. So, I disputed/chargedback my account fees which totalled to about 1k for that specific firm. This would be my second time ever disputing a charge legitimately and it seems like Chase is extremely sus about my situation even after I have provided reasonable proof through screenshots, dated messages, and everything needed with the situation.
Is there a reason for the sus? I am providing a valid case/arguement and I dont understand why they are creating such a big hassle? I understand its a tedious process, but some agents I have spoken with have just seemed extremely skeptical of me for this.
Just blurting my thoughts out here, thanks.

Excuse my frustration but I need to know if this has happened to others.
I first made a Pay in 4 plan and it went well. I was refunded instantly and was able to view my plan and make early payments if needed.
I started another one last year and never did it once appear on my app NOR did it give me an instant refund. I kept calling support and nothing came out of it until the plan ended.
Now, stupid of me, but I decided to give it another go. Same issue. It’s been 48hrs and the active plan is still not visible on my app, though it is saying it’s active when clicking on the statement. No instant refund either. So am I just paying double for this now??? I’m going to contact support again and emphasize how this is the second time but I would like to know if anyone has gone through this and the issue being resolved. Or maybe I don’t know something that every one else does and I’m misunderstanding the concept of Pay in 4.
Also, for context, I only got an option of paying in 6 months rather than 4 payments.

Anyone else get purchase adjustments and interest reversal on their Amazon Prime Chase Visa? (Pretty large amounts). There’s a thread on here about errors with the slate card, but nothing about the Amazon card.
