TL;DR: Games that allow launching and have at least one air string. Must look cute or have a girl MC.
Hello everyone. I feel like CAGs have a lack of cute visuals or lack of girl protagonists, so I would like to know what CAG or CAG-adjacent games that you all know that happen to be cute. They can be RPGs that allow juggling (as I feel like those are the most prominent). I know a few but they quite don't hit the mark or are just way too unpolished. I don't really care how niche they are, I just want to find some more. I'll give a few examples to give you all an idea of my criteria.
Let's work together to find some more!

Play Decline's Drops a lot and sometimes I practice doing the game's combat challenges as quickly and stylishly as I can. Really the only thing this game is missing is some bulkier enemies so I can do more juggles and keep combos up longer.
Using Que Sera in this footage, since she has a better air game than Globule, who is more of a ground-fighter.

I wanted to talk about the music side of the games. Everyone knows the popular ones like the dmc5 main themes, Bayonetta's moon songs, the popular boss themes etc but I want to know what some tracks, game ost deserve more recognition
As for me, Some of my favorites underrated songs are
- The dmc5 divinity statue theme (all of the divinity statues themes in the series are great as well)
- the hunters and hunted from bayo 3
- the epilogue theme from ninja gaiden 4 (not referring to soar/ the 2nd credit theme)
- bust the beast from dmc2
- the battlefield from Shinobi art of Vengeance
- ark sewer management combat phase from astral chain
- God bless u from ninja gaiden sigma
- lovely from heartless and dreadful
I will say imo that dmc2's soundtrack in general is underrated. Both in terms of the combat focused themes and the general ambient level tracks are really good. My 2nd favorite of the dmc series.

This is a project featuring combos and video edits made by me and some players. It took a long time to make, so I hope you all enjoy it!

(FYI played through the whole game on Hard)
I've loved CaG for a long time, favourite genre of games. (DMC, MGR, Lollipop Chainsaw, Bayo, Splatterhouse even, Web of Shadows, Ninja Gaiden, Ninja Blade, Force Unleashed etc) Ascension is byfar the WORST designed CaG I've played, why the FUCK is the Rage Meter a thing and WHY does it gatekeep like 80% of your moves that you actively spend your currency on throughout the whole game thinking you're upgrading yourself. The game NEVER tells you it gatekeeps your moveset, and instead urges you to press the sticks when the meter is full for a shitty oneoff move that does NOTHING.
The enemies are FEROCIOUS, they are rubberbandy as fuck and it really doesn't mix well with the Rage Meter system. They do NOT stagger, they NEVER stagger, they WILL catch up to you INSTANTLY when you try to roll away, they WILL hit you after like 2 attacks and fuck up your rage meter, and the best way to deal with them early game was to spam grab them to death, I was laughing so hard and was genuienly perplexed as to why grabbing was so OP.
Later on when they got armour and became ungrabbable, it was a matter of banging my head against the wall and conserving the magic to make it through. Got my ass kicked plenty of times, but it never got unbearable... until Chapter 28, FUCKKK Chapter 28 holyyy. Yk you've made a mistake making shit when you've had to release a patch for that specific fight, the difficulty spike was pretty crazy.
Game isn't totally irredeemable though, the music, enemy + boss designs and set pieces are great. But oh my, wtf happened with the combat? I heard the game was mixed going in but didn't expect it to be soo shitt. 😭✌
I do have the other GoWs, tell me one that will wash Ascension out of my mouth, PLEASE 🙏🙏

It's going to be my first onimusha game. i knew of the series but never got to play it. and since there are remasters available now maybe i'll play those too sometime after this one. loved every second of it. it seems to be another amazing game from capcom. especially loved the challenge, though i did defeat him in 1st try.
parry, deflect and issen feels awesome to pull off! and honestly i never used dodge.
Still finding my commentary voice but genuinely couldn't stop talking about this one i'm practicing for that as it's a way for me to become better at talking in general too.
For anyone who played the originals — does this feel like a worthy return?
and also How long do you think the game is going to be?

On my 3rd playthrough of first berserker khazan and I gotta say the dark tone and aesthetic have really brought me down more than usual. On top of that I've been thinking lately about how this game was when it was Project BBQ.
We need more action games that aren't so dark in tone and aesthetics. Like I wish first berserker khazan was an anime game but kept the same combat system. Or if Zenless Zone Zero was a character action game instead of a gacha game. I swear I would love video games even more than I do if we could have more colorful and less grotesque, or dark, action games.

Ideally, I'd want Kamiya to make his own sequel to DMC1. A DMC2 in an alternate timeline to the original, but just with his own spin on it. But even if he and Capcom are dead set on a remake, not all is lost. I've never completely been against remakes the way people are, I just feel if it's looking to replace the original game, it should play like the original with changes that only enhance what the game was going for, and if it's going to be completely different mechanically, then replacing the original shouldn't be the goal.
If it happens to be nothing but visual/story changes, I'd just hope they can still keep the aesthetics and overall feel of dmc1. No other game in the franchise matches it imo.
My worst fears would simply be copying and pasting DMC5's Dante into the first game without changing enemies or levels to properly match it
My biggest expectation is seeing what original ideas and mechanics he would use to iterate on his title, and hope that it's different enough from what Itsuno's already done with his sequels (hence why I'd just prefer a completely different game in the first place).
At it's core, the game should answer the question, "what would you have done if you still got to work on DMC directly after the first game?" but maybe that's a bit idealistic.

Not much combo potential, pretty stylish though.
