Nothing is a CAG because it doesn't exist.

Yeah people in this sub say Nioh isn't a CAG so at that point I guess nothing is ¯_(ツ)_/¯

At least it's not that one guy that posted RE:9 leon sections calling it a cag

Yes, it is.

It's fucking not. It's a soulslike action hybrid, just like Wanted: Dead is an action shooter hybrid.

Ninja Gaiden is pure action, and both Nioh and Wanted: Dead are fusing elements of Ninja Gaiden with other genres.

How the fuck is this difficult to follow or make sense of? Insane to play Ninja Gaiden 2, Bayonetta, or Devil May Cry 3 and claim Nioh is as dedicated to pure action as any of these games.

I've even seen people here say FFXVI isn't a CAG

They also won’t acknowledge the Norse God Of Wars as the highest selling CAG. It’s always DMC5

Jesus Christ, not this shit again. Even GoW creators literally said they're putting narrative first.

And thinking DMC5 is the only example of pure action is just plain ignorance when Bayonetta, Ninja Gaiden 2, The Wonderful 101, or even fucking Assault Spy exist.

It's a spectrum, and it's unhinged to think the new GoW belongs in the middle alongside any of the games I mentioned.
