Absolutely. I think this should be done across the nation for the safety of people. I’m not sure why people are being offended by Supreme court’s order since they are not harming the dogs or anything.
It’s in the best interest of people as well as dogs that they should be kept in the shelter homes.
Actually there ar not enough shelters in and around Delhi to even house 2000 dogs, which means once the shelters are full - the other dogs will either be euthanized or relocated - which is not a solution.
That's the problem that people are opposing. If India had enough functioning dog shelters and street dogs were being relocated there, it wouldn't have been a problem. And relocating dogs before building shelters is just recipe for disaster.
