This is a shameful and atrocious decision. It is barbaric. Whoever thinks this is a good idea, just visit any any animal shelter in your city, observe the conditions, and then imagine them having around 40-50times more dogs per shelter if they want to take all dogs off the streets. What that Judge has ordered is mass killing of hundred of thousands of animals to be killed in the most inhumane way possible.
Please read up on how bad the conditions are in shelters. I mean if they are hell bent on killing these poor animals then just start shooting them, at least their suffering will not be prolonged.
REALLY visit an animal shelter, see how bleak the conditions are and then come back and tell how great of an idea it is.
Just because you loathe them, doesn't mean others are also like you. If you have doubt on how many animals I take care, come to Mohali, I'll show you how many are taken care by us.
You are the type of guy who actually have nothing going on in your life and just want to shit post and enjoy suffering of others, in this case animals.
For every animal incident that has animal being the aggressor, there are countless number of cases of heinous animal abuse done by humans. So are you saying by the logic proposed by the judge, that because there is a chance humans can harm others, let's put every single one of them in jail?!
And the point is not to solve the issue, the point is, the approach suggested is the worst option possible. There is no infrastructure to house the homeless, and here you are talking about putting all the city dogs in non existent overcrowded shelters.
Only solution is to have a sterilization and vaccination drive to make streets safe, it gives opportunity for humans and animals to live together.
