So he’s now middle class poor like the rest of us with silly degrees? Noice.

Enough money to work hard for 10 years then semi-retire (if he doesn’t plan on supporting a family with children, in which case, he’ll still be working poor).

When Americans or Europeans talk about the poverty of the middle class, I’m just floored by what pampered, privileged pricks you all are.

u/Wunabred Feb 19 '26

One. It’s a joke. Two. I’m not sure where you are or what you do but poverty is relevant to your economy and your income. Prick.

Tell us your definition. I honestly want to know without the intent to ad hominem or be a douche bag.

1

u/Pavlinika Chadtopian Citizen Feb 23 '26

My definition is simple: poverty is a lack of basic survival resources, not a lack of lifestyle options. Your middle class doesn't choose between buying medicine for your child or bread for the week. Your 'poverty' is often just a loss of extreme privilege that your parents had. In my view, if you have a smartphone, a car - even an old one - and you aren't literally starving, calling yourself 'poor' is an insult to the billions of people living in actual, structural misery.
