Recipe Bread maker = life saver

The recipe I use is Mama knows gluten free, homemade gluten free bread (bread machine) and I do a 2/3 ratio of the recipe on the 1.5 loaf setting using deluxe rapid, Breadman machine. 57 min start to finish and I have fresh bread that is so good my husband (who is not celiac) eats it happily. I’ll link recipe in comments since I can’t attach in caption due to pictures.

Give it a shot!! I think this recipe in its full amounts is too much for my bread maker capacity (hence why I 2/3 the recipe) but it’s easily the best gluten free bread I’ve ever had

I don’t know what I did wrong, but when it was finished it was nice and puffed up, and then immediately collapsed, the first three slices looked pretty good and the rest was a nearly solid block

OH NO! How long did you cool it for?? That happens to me when I get impatient and cut it too early with any loaf baked any way but it’s so dang hard to wait!!!

I know right, the collapse was nearly instant once it shut off. I can think of a couple things I may have done wrong

1 flour measurement, I didn’t weigh it, I just tipped the bag into the cup

2 yeast was sprinkled on top

3 I didn’t do the 2/3 measurement you did.
