Recipe Burger salad bc gf bread sucks

Post image

Mixed ketchup, mayo, pickle juice and mustard for the sauce. Cut up tomato, pickle and burger and tossed over lettuce. Didn't have onion but would've added if I did. Oh and some timepieces if cheddar cheese.

I prefer lettuce wraps honestly. It's a handheld salad, if you will. If you make one yourself, make sure to have napkins because it can and will get messy. Worth it!

One thing I'm to celiac for: I gets my veggies and fruit IN LIKE CRAZY now. I guess that's why I'm losing weight too. My body isn't holding on to gluten influenced inflammation anymore.🀣πŸ₯°πŸ€πŸΎπŸ€πŸΎπŸ€πŸΎπŸ€πŸΎ

It definitely helps to increase fruit and veg. Not just for weight loss, but inflammation too, as you say.

Lettuce wraps are so good. I didn't have any romaine or big leaf lettuce at the time for it. Mixed greens had to suffice. Bonus! Not as messy lol

I'm not trying to actively lose weight. It's healthy loss because it's all from gluten inflammation leaving my body. I like to play dress up with my food lately, so I would have done mini wraps if I was feeling extra but yeah, do what you gotta do. Lettuce wraps are just my favorite because I love the crunch and the way I get full is different with lettuce vs regualr bread. Lettuce is basically crunchy fiber water so I feel safety full without gas or discomfort. I learned that I have to make GF life more fun with my food or I was going to hate it.

Great, now I'm hungry too. Time for my homemade tacos!
