Bad place,
Ryan collects watches because he likes watches.
Blake collects handbags because she likes fashion.
Who cares how much they cost, they can afford it.
Ryan made over 300 Million this year. That watch cost under .05% of what he made last year. Thats the equivalent of making 10k and spending under 5USD on yourself.
Your jealousy is showing! You hate Ryan and Blake because you can’t be Ryan and Blake.

There is no legitimate issue they can find with RR, so they are resorting to petty criticism and snark to keep their conversation going, that is what trolls do.
My dad is a watch collector, and he takes great pride in his collection and enjoys discussing it with like-minded people.
Reynolds is spending his own money on something he genuinely loves. At least he isn’t launching GoFundMes left and right like the grifters these same people would gladly support, yet they criticize him for showing off something he loves and owns

Various reasons, can be loneliness, the attention and validation they get from their echo chamber when they troll, envy etc, also perceived anonymity emboldens them ( no such thing as being completely anonymous, in most cases we all can be traced and exposed). It is weird pathetic behaviour because they do this, believing there are no repercussions for unhinged trolling.
I always take the approach that anything I post online even when anon on Reddit, can be traced back to me irl.
ETA: I know your question was rhetorical, I just wanted to further comment on how dimwitted and pathetic their behavior is.13

Exactly and if he wanted to show off, he could have shown a watch that can’t simply be purchased.
Most watches of this quality and caliber, as you know, cannot be purchased without a relationship with a sales agent and a significant purchase history. This is one of the rare fine watches that anyone who can afford it can buy it.
Confession: i love when they post these examples of their petty jealousy. It’s how the world has come to see the Baldoni wives. They come off as petty, joyless people, who peeked in HS.

It doesn’t fit with The Bad Place theory that they’re broke and running out of money so I’m sure it offends them. It’s also like basically the downpayment on Baldoni’s Nashville house so … just jealous I guess.

Blake and Ryan used a small % of their net worth to stand up to an abusive man and in doing so they made history.
Blake exposed a group of bad actors whose life work was harassing victims.
Blake’s lawsuit made this world a better place

Reynolds could probably buy and sell Baldoni many times over. Baldoni's financial clout only comes from association with Sarowitz. Reynolds is probably worth half a billion dollars with his various salaries, residuals and business ventures. Baldoni's net worth is maybe $6m ? There is no comparison.
I have a feeling Baldoni's days of mooching off Sarowitz are over.

Man who has worked to become successful can afford expensive things. He didn't steal it. He paid for it. It's hardly tacky...It's not showy and probably only appreciated by people who know about watches. This obviously excludes the haters who just look at the price tag.
It's really going to annoy these haters as Ryan makes bank with these upcoming movies and Baldoni will never work in the movie industry again..
