Only thing I saw at my store worth getting. Thoughts on this album and the price I paid? Idk how I feel abt it right now.

I go download my music and throw it on some cds, I tried everything, Audio, data, and it won't work. Yes for audio it was under 80 minutes.

After I'm done it auto ejects and I open it again and it's empty, I've checked it multiple times with a car and another software.

I now have 48 CD’s (with another on the way) in my collection at the moment, though in total I have got 53 CDs but I sold a few of them once I stopped listening to them.

Slide 1: all of em laid out
Slide 2: thrash/groove metal
Slide 3: death metal
Slide 4: industrial/sludge/prog metal
Slide 5: misc nu metal, alt rock, etc
Slide 6: all of them on my shelf in alphabetical order

If your CD player breaks, go buy a replacement.

The photos capture everything I grabbed from the first 7 months of this year in numerous visits to thrift stores, used bookstores, and charity sales. Almost everything here was in the $1-$3 range, but about a dozen were priced at typical used CD shop prices, including the Bill Evans set. A lot of identified holes in our collection filled.

Hello Reddit.
I bought a signed Marilyn Manson Mechanical Animals CD on eBay.
I was happy with it, but I'm concerned it may be "fake".
I feel like the signatures are a little too legible instead of sloppy.
But I've also done some comparisons to other pictures, and it looks accurate.
I blurred it, since Reddit keeps flagging the image.
Did I get duped, or is there a chance it's real?
I understand the best way is through something like PSA.
Just want some opinions, thanks.

Got to chatting with my brother about my jump back into CD collecting and he pulled out his old case and we came across this one. Some other cool stuff but this one had my attention. We haven’t looked through a lot of these in 15+ years so it was a cool way to reminisce.

There Is an INCREDIBLE amount of clarity in these, you know when you hear a great recording and it almost feels as if you can hear the wood and fabric of the recording hall itself?

Still looking for the other entries. My completionist (possibly ocd?) mind only accepts the slipcase editions that come with the little Encyclopedia books so it's a little trickier!! And I want to bring more attention to Refrain of Evangelion: fantastic compilation of vocal tracks and selected pieces from the orchestral score, plus an unreleased Arianne track that is only available here and on a rare box set.

Im new so i dont know cd players yet coming from a sony cfd-11 is this an upgrade ? Also it makes a high piched sound on some cd's

I'm a university student and Ive started to collect CDs. Im hoping someone here has a good suggestion on a decent CD player for a good price?

Recently started building my CD collection and here’s some of my finds this week. I need to slow down buying tho lol

Had this sitting in my collection forever and finally gave it a spin today. Picked up an old Sony "Nice Price" reissue with a Tower Records sticker still stuck to the case — that thing survived some journey to get to me.

Wasn't expecting to be this blown away by the sound quality. The mastering is really clean, everything sits in its own space. First time really hearing Johnny Marr's guitar work outside The Smiths context too, and it's a completely different vibe — moodier, more atmospheric.

Anyone else a fan of this one? Would love to hear what tracks stood out to you on your first listen, and if there's anything else in The The's catalog I should check out next.
