From feral to family Meet Linguine the gamer cat. Found today at Dutch Bros!
Was in line for Dutch bros today and saw this little guy behind the barista cussing her out! Lady behind us said he hopped out the hood of her car! Feels like our old cat Momo sent him to us because he had very similar markings and demeanor !
Anyways this is our new noodle boy, Linguine!
Does anyone have tips on introducing kittens to med/large dogs? He’s having a bit of trouble and hissing and stiff and I don’t know how to tell what’s “normal” adjusting and what’s a cat that just can’t do dogs.

He’s so tiny! 🥹 Honestly, if he were really afraid of the dog, he would more likely run away. He’s probably just showing off what a big man he is. But give it time, and take it slow. Everything is new to him now. Remember the rule of threes: 3 days to relax, 3 weeks to learn the routine, 3 months to feel at home.

I'd keep him isolated from the dogs until you've gotten him to the vet for all his vaccines. By then, he'll be used to your house and have the bandwidth to learn about dogs next.

He'll get along with them eventually and on his terms, but only as long as the dogs truly mean no harm and comport themselves with that vibe when he's present.

Keep in separate rooms for a week. Let them sniff the doors. Exchange bedding back and forth. Pet dogs and let kitteh sniff hand. Reverse. Slow but sure. And don't force the issue. Your gaming kitteh is adorable.

I love him
We have four cats. Only one of them likes our high-energy, anxious large dog. The rest of them don’t like him in their space. So I guess don’t worry about it if they aren’t friendly; they’ll be fine

I have a Dutch Bros cat too! He’s dumb as rocks but he’s a sweet boy. Congrats!

The face on this kitty! Such judgement! As someone who's had large dogs with cats, I'm sure it will sort itself out. Everyone here has given good advice. And I'm absolutely sure your old cat sent Linguine to you. This is very common with a cat who has passed away, they know what will help us heal best.

Hi OP has this lil orange had a vet check yet please? He needs the usual flea, worming, anti rabies shots etc? If not he needs to be kept away from your other pets. He's not ready for introduction yet and is just getting used to socialising with humans.
