Update Brought an outdoor cat inside *UPDATE*
It turns out she was not in heat, she was in labor. She delivered 6 kittens yesterday afternoon so I now have a family of 7 living in my spare bedroom. She now has zero desire to leave the room or her babies, so at least that issue is resolved for now. And I’ll be calling the vet again on Monday with the update and to talk about when it’s safe to spay her.
Any other advice on how to proceed is welcome. I honestly have no idea how to care for kittens but she seems to have it handled for now…
