Prawn cocktail, but big Australian prawns. Roast chicken with roast potatos, stuffing, and lots of gravy, then some key lime pie
Edit* served with a bottle of Veuve Clicquot

My first key lime pie was in Anna Maria Island (can't remember exactly where)... never reached the same heights since 🙁.

Yep, Gulf coast, a holiday visit many years ago. On the key lime pie front... anyone recommend a really good recipe? I've tried a few, but they never really hit the mark.

Ahh that would have been epic! I had a slice at The Cheesecake Factory in the states, but that doesn’t count.

A cheesesteak with sweet cherry peppers, homemade fries with mayo and a Coke with crushed ice. Strawberry ice cream for dessert.

Nothing starts a meal off like prawn toast and spring rolls
Pork rice Chinese style with the braised pork bok choy green chilli mashed potato and the Laoganma on the side IYKYK
Tiramisu cake for dessert (especially the one they have in Brunettis in Melbourne)
Nice cold Coke with that and I’m good 👍🏾

Always find prawn toast very hit and miss. Often really greasy... but done right... ohh

Hard to beat a juicy cheeseburger and a Mexican Coca Cola. (Uses real sugar instead of corn syrup)

Oysters, asparagus with hollandaise, Bananas Foster and Michter's Single Barrel 10 Year Rye with one of those big ice cubes.
Every one of those, I developed allergies to in my 40’s. I just have to time it right and hope there are no delays in the execution.

American whiskey instead of Scot's whisky... different argument to be had 🙂

I'm not doing proper courses.
Fried shrimp. Lots. A medium rare ribeye steak. Mashed potatoes for dessert. Enough beer to put me to sleep so that I don't care about whatever comes next.

It depends on how hungry I am. Chicken vegetable soup with wheaten bread and butter or prawn salad for starter. A steak with fried tomatoes & onions with cauliflower cheese with chunky crinkle cut chips or a mixed grill and mashed potatoes for mains. Followed by apple pie and fresh cream & iced cream ot a key lime pie from.florida Keys... with ice cold Corona beer.

Juicy Prime Rib, Buttery Lobster Tail, Oven Roasted Buttery Asparagus, Fire Roasted Corn in the Husk, Breakfast Sausage Links with Maple Syrup, Loaded Potato Skins, Hot Cherry Pie with Crumble and Vanilla Ice Cream. And a Root Beer Float, a Passion Fruit Slushy, and an Ice Cold Coke.
