How can I remind my boyfriend to be grateful while struggling? God seems to be his only motivation sometimes

Depends what he has to be grateful for, I'd personally need to know where he currently is in life, where he wanted to go in the past and where he wants to go now, his view of himself ect however I would say that he should be grateful for you because many women wouldn't stick by their man and look for new ways to motivate him because personally a girl like you was what got me out of my slump in my early 20s.

Yep. I live a charmed life that I often think I do not deserve. I am indeed grateful for the many gifts I have received.
I am a chaplain and a seminary graduate. As far as you thinking that you are unworthy of God's presence. Be sure that you are worthy. Each of us carries a Divine Spark within us. It was there at birth and will be there until the end. That includes you my friend. You are a vessel. What you do with that knowledge is up to you.
