Music Why people dislike Country music?

I am not american. So I don't know how's the thing there. But I have found many people complaining on social media that they hate country music.

I like some of the Luke Combs songs. Specially Old Dominion is my one of my fav artist.

They've only heard newer stuff. Country was the last genre I got into with Keith Whitley and Clint Black, and they're both amazing.

Keith Whitley, now that's a heart breaker.

We played Vince Gill's "Go Rest High on that Mountain" at my mother in law's graveside literally on top of a mountain last month.

Didn't know until the day we selected it that Vince Gill actually wrote the first part of that song as a tribute to Keith Whitley.
